My favorite pic from the article:
I lol'd at this one because it's so true...
That is quite a bit of fine tail on that yacht.
It must be hard being a rich celebrity.

I was supposed to be underwater by now.
Why didn't the government subsidize my swimming lessons?

Al Gore is the same way. He talks the talk about climate change but yet his carbon footprint is the size of the state of Texas. A multi-million dollar home, a gas guzzling private jet, luxury cars that have the worst carbon emissions rate in the history of automobiles.
I wish someone would point this stuff out in front of their faces to make these hyprocrites publicy shamed.
Regardless of the status of certain people. You want to preach about saving the climate, walk the path like a true climate change advocate

Cobain

Some find it difficult.
Apparently Leo doesn't.

one would THINK that " conferences to save teh world " would be an idea showcase for emergent telecomunications technologies that avoid having to travel to a central location
but hey - what do i know
just my opinion but pitifully few meetings i have attended actually required my attendance`
the notable exceptions being where we had to actually look at // hold a prototype or examine an instalation
apres meeting sex with delegates always spices up trips - but its not a valid reason to fly me to stutgart

You are so right about what you just said. These people running the global warming agenda are blind to this, they are bull crap. I believe we should take better care of our environment, but these people just want to create businesses to boost the economy. I look at vehicles driving down the highway, there are too many of these efficient cars on the road. Getting thirty miles to a gallon instead of fifteen means nothing if you are driving twice as much.

In some cases it is worse. Having your car battery charged by a coal plant and that battery needing to be replaced because it's a p.o.s., and then to top it off that battery sitting in a landfill leaking and polluting the environment.

Great point! Thought it was well worth repeating because it never gets addressed.
Technology can damn near holographically place Obama and the likes onstage anywhere in the world. So why the ignorant, gluttonous misuse of resources? Totally counter to what they claim to stand for. Do as we say not as we do.
I'm curious how they justify it? Do they think their presence is so vitally important their message would get lost in the technology? I'm guessing live performances pay better.
Theatrics and greed on parade. It's all about their bottom line and playing celebrity in the limelight. I'm afraid we've created monsters. They're political rock stars, Obama's "stroke me" world tour. Probably sells t-shirts/entertains groupies.
Those who see it for what it is are deplorable, stupid and need to STFU. We read way too much into what we see. Damn our lying eyes.
