Trump is clueless?

Let's look at history, shall we?
  • MSM claimed Trump would never actually run for President.
  • MSM claimed Trump would never disclose his financial report.
  • MSM claimed Trump would never make it to the first round debates.
  • MSM claimed Trump would drop out before the Primaries.
  • MSM claimed Trump wouldn't win any electoral votes.
  • MSM claimed Trump wouldn't win the Primary.
  • MSM claimed Trump would lose to Hillary.
  • MSM claimed the electoral college would revolt against Trump.
  • MSM claimed Trump would resign, leaving Pence as President.
  • MSM claimed Trump would roll over for Russia.
  • MSM claimed Trump would be impeached in the first 100 days.
  • MSM claimed Trump would never get the ACHA through the House.

TheRedneck

Not a single one of those talking points though, refute Trump being clueless. A lot of what you've pointed out there stems from an inability to dissect supposition from making an actual claim.

Those examples indicate that that the MSM is more clueless than Trump. Given that most of Trump's detractors seem to parrot MSM claims (or suppositions, if you prefer those semantics), his detractors have a record of being much more 'clueless' than Trump.

There is indeed clueless happening, but it's not coming from the Trump administration.

TheRedneck

It looks like you just listed a bunch of things he did and then claimed mainstream media claimed it was some impossible task?

Really..most of that list is different measures of fail that any President that could tie his shoes could have gotten done, but he only half, almost did.

Just crazy you set the bar so low that you praise him for not outright implementing Russian policy?

What a weird list...

Check and fold are two different things in Poker..

Not after a raise. You raise, call, or fold.

Checking is not even a choice in actual poker... it is an often-added option when no bet has been made for people who are scared to play the real game.

TheRedneck

You obviously know nothing about poker?

Maybe watch ESPN sometime if you don't play.

Check is often a move where the player is holding a great hand, but wants to bait the other players into becoming overconfident and betting more. He doesn't bet nor fold...he lets other players unwisely throw more money in the pot, where as is he bet big right away everyone might fold.

Not just Comey speaking up...

Why the FBI might wage “war” on Trump — and how they would actually do it
www.vox.com...

Interesting days ahead..

More proof that the media is facilitating all this BS. All these unnamed sources sure are loud.

“[Trump] essentially declared war on a lot of people at the FBI,” an anonymous FBI official told the Washington Post. “I think there will be a concerted effort to respond over time in kind.”

If the FBI says that...they are going to obstruct and war against the president cant they be dissolved as treasonous?

Check is often a move...

We know what check is. It's a bet of zero.

In any serious poker game, checking is considered a rookie move and will quickly get you uninvited to future games and probably taken to the cleaners in the meantime. I have seen many players try that, and every single time the serious players busted them within a few hands.

Tip: keep playing for buttons.

Dissolved? Only by Congress.

Treason? I see this thrown around a lot and I dont think people adequately understand how it works. Sedition or seditious conspiracy is a more likely possibility.

* - 18 USC 2381 - Treason

Whoever, owing allegiance to the United States, levies war against them or adheres to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort within the United States or elsewhere, is guilty of treason and shall suffer death, or shall be imprisoned not less than five years and fined under this title but not less than $10,000; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States.

* - 18 USC Chapter 115 - TREASON, SEDITION, AND SUBVERSIVE ACTIVITIES

As for all the loudmouth liberals, Democrats, Hollywood types calling for the US Government to be overthrown (Keooth Olberman is the latest, demanding Russia invade to overthrow the Trump administration).

18 USC 2385 - Advocating overthrow of Government

Advocating overthrow of Government Whoever knowingly or willfully advocates, abets, advises, or teaches the duty, necessity, desirability, or propriety of overthrowing or destroying the government of the United States or the government of any State, Territory, District or Possession thereof, or the government of any political subdivision therein, by force or violence, or by the assassination of any officer of any such government; or Whoever, with intent to cause the overthrow or destruction of any such government, prints, publishes, edits, issues, circulates, sells, distributes, or publicly displays any written or printed matter advocating, advising, or teaching the duty, necessity, desirability, or propriety of overthrowing or destroying any government in the United States by force or violence, or attempts to do so; or Whoever organizes or helps or attempts to organize any society, group, or assembly of persons who teach, advocate, or encourage the overthrow or destruction of any such government by force or violence; or becomes or is a member of, or affiliates with, any such society, group, or assembly of persons, knowing the purposes thereof— Shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than twenty years, or both, and shall be ineligible for employment by the United States or any department or agency thereof, for the five years next following his conviction. If two or more persons conspire to commit any offense named in this section, each shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than twenty years, or both, and shall be ineligible for employment by the United States or any department or agency thereof, for the five years next following his conviction. As used in this section, the terms "organizes" and "organize", with respect to any society, group, or assembly of persons, include the recruiting of new members, the forming of new units, and the regrouping or expansion of existing clubs, classes, and other units of such society, group, or assembly of persons.

Checking is an important part of the game. You're never going to bet in to a pot with a hand you know is garbage, unless you are confident the other players have nothing and you bluff the pot. If you're not going to bluff, then you check.

Checking is also key when trying to build a bigger pot when you have the nuts. You let others feel confident by check-calling, and then you catch them with their own pot odds with a check-raise on the turn or river.

It is a criminal violation so no votes are needed except by a jury or 1 vote by a judge.

I don't think think they play holdem or Omaha. They are referring to 5card and stud. Old school....

Depends. Do you understand pot odds? Do you never check and bet in to everything?

What sort of odds do you have to have in order to stay in a pot chasing a straight or flush?

I think the concept of slow play escapes them.

Same premise would apply to 5 card draw and most stud games, depending on the stud game. I'm a fan of Razz.

5 card stud, checking is very limited.

Ya, but slow play can be profitable.

And it should not be confused with a slow roll. Never slow roll anyone. It's a douche move.

Standard rules, quarter-dollar, $20 buy-in, no limit on raises, revolving deal, dealer calls, 5 or 7 card stud or draw.

And no wild cards... better throw that one in before somebody calls "deuces, one-eyed Jacks, sevens, and aces wild."

They only play holdem and Omaha at the Indian casinos I frequent. More rake for the house....Private games among friends is a good way to lose friends.

Sounds like a home game. Nothing wrong with that, but perhaps you should head out to a local casino or check out some YT vids to see the value in a simple check.
