The Democrats need something to pin their hopes on and keep yammering on about it, like repeating it will make it true. Never mind that it's been said 3 times that there is no connection, they still keep on and on and on and...................

Comey did not have to be removed for Sessions to prosecute anyone involved. The AG / DOJ is technically over the FBI (along with the DNI). Charges are at the discretion of the DOJ and not the FBI.
Yes, but Comey could find more flimsy reasons to NOT recommend Hillary's prosecution.

The dynamic here being you can't prove anything during an ongoing investigation because everything is classified.
They need a leak.

Now Democrats are demanding a special counsel stating that AG sessions already recused himself and since the new deputy AG was involved in Comeys dismissal he should recuse himself as well.
So they're basically saying what everyone on the (D) side here is saying - This HAS to be over Trump/Russia and for no other reason.
Can they prove that?

If they had it ... it would be out. The way things have been leaking, it would be out.
They aren't going to sit on something like that, an impeachable offense, if they have it.
If they had smoking gun evidence that Trump somehow skewed the elections in his favor with Russia's help, that's treason and impeachable. If they had it, they wouldn't be sitting on it. They don't have it.

Shouldn't hillary be happy he is fired?
After all, he was why she didn't win.
No doubt! To suggest Comey is partisan is to admit senility.
Who said he was?
I say he was pressured by everyone above him.
Therefore making him not effective at his job.
Now they can go after lynch and rice.
I've read several comments on here so far suggesting Hillary would be upset by this. As if Comey didn't screw her over.
Well Comey does have financial and other links to the Clinton Foundation and if I remember right Comeys brother is also linked into the Clintons.
So how did he profit off of severely hurting her chances to win?

Will the FBI side with Trump. Or support the investigation.
Trump insulted the wrong people. They have long memories and don't trust Trump...they may be next on the chopping block and that's just not going to happen.

Is it true that the reason the White House gave for firing Comey is because he did something bad to Hillary back on July 8, 2016? That's what I'm hearing on the radio.
According to the Deputy AG who wrote the recommendation to fire him said that Comey should not have come out and said all the things he did about hillary, in the way he did.
It was not a good presentation of the evidence and he shouldn't have even done the presser, usurping Lynch in that regard.
