The Race
Welcome to the biggest most difficult and dangerous race in human history. It is a very exciting evening and as usual, today’s race will have over 100 million participants trying to dodge obstacles, fighting their way to the finish line, in extremely high speed. Most of them will lose, paying the price with their life; some will reach the end, yet still will fail at the final barrier.
Today’s race was not easy to set up. It took a mutual friend to introduce the two main organizers to each other. One of them provided the course for the race, the other could guarantee a high turnout of racers. After that, many meetings held place, some of them were candle light dinners, but in the end both party were happy, and without words a plan of the race started to materialize. Both of them were professionals and knew exactly how to organize and execute a major race like this. They were also previous winners of one of these crazy insane races, one has won 32 years ago, and the other was victorious about 26 years ago.
The rules are simple:
The competitors, all 100 million of them are in one place, crowded and ready to go. After the collective warm up that contains a rhythmic movement of back and forth, like a constant ocean wave, the racers became more and more hyped up, ready to blow out together in a massive, free for all style start.
None of them are familiar with the course, this is a new track never used before. It held a few try-outs some dry runs, but never the real thing.
After the warm up complete, the gate will suddenly open and wave by wave the competitors will start rushing out in a high speed towards the finish line, where a huge sphere will waiting for them. Once the few still in the race, reach the gigantic sphere, they will have to find one hidden crack on its wall and through that crack they will enter the sphere, where they will be declared as WINNER of the race. It is fairly rare to have more than one winner, but in some cases there could be multiple racers reaching inside of the sphere, in that case they will have to share the price.
Only the fastest, strongest most determinate will reach the sphere, and out of those, the luckiest will be able to enter the targeted zone.
As most of the time, the winner’s name will be brought to public after the mandatory rest/develop time, in about 9 months.
As the two main organizers are slowly taking their place, creating a fine ambiance for the race, we will take a short brake, but we will be right back after these messages from our sponsors.
