Just came back with my sons from the movie.

It is rare that any film equals to the original, this one surpassed the first.

It was funny, sad, and then really funny again.

Please stay through ALL the credits, there are 5 breaks that show various clips.

I would highly recommend watching this.

I just saw it with my son today as well. I agree on all of your points.

The scene with the "big toe" had me actually crying with laughter.

Haven't watched it yet, but based off the trailer, it looks like it has a lot of heart. A sequel being better than its predecessor is incredibly rare, only a handful of films have ever done it.

Is this the most likable cast ever?

That baby Groot is too cute.

I saw it last night.
Overall I liked it, but not quite as much as the first one.
Lots of good laughs.
The bad guy was a little lame in my opinion.

The soundtrack was great also!

Fleetwood Mac at a pivotal scene!

Loved it, didn't stay through the whole credits, regrettably, but had a sick girl to get home. And yes totally as good if no better than the first. SPOILER ALERT. Can't wait for the next one... love me some Groot!

I Loved the first as we followed Groot (ourselves) into Enlightenment/Universality; passing from "I am Groot!" to "We are Groot!"
Beautifully represented!
Looking forward to 2! *__-

My son and I were supposed to see it today but I overdid it Friday and Saturday. I LOVED the first one and this one looks just as good. Marvels best by far plus Chris Pratt just might be the most perfect man born.

did we watch the same movie? because the one i watched feels like a parody of guardians of the galaxy.
everything that happens is so convoluted and forgettable. and believe me i loved the first one.

Couldn't agree more. The sequel felt so incoherent, and had no where near the graceful pace that the first one did. I was so excited for this one, but IMHO it failed to deliver.

It was like a whole new team came in and tried to replicate the feel of the first film, and failed.

It was more of a character growth flick than a big bad guy flick. Still having the Sovereign around was pretty lame.

Everyone just shut up!

The movie was awesome. You all are stupid!

(goes into a corner and pouts)

What? I thought I just got done saying it was good?

I just thought the Sovereign felt a little superfluous at times.

Saw it today felt like taking my mom out for something to do we both really enjoyed it, and agreed we like the first one better. Here's my main question how in the hell is Peter Quill going to protect the galaxy without his celestial powers? Can't hold an infinity stone anymore and let's be honest a mere mortal human being surrounded by such bad asses on his team just dosent seem right. He would get obliterated in seconds on his next adventure they go under so much physical strain example: Drak getting dragged through trees from a spaceship the examples could really go on and on for every character. So what say you on the subject yes he mostly uses tools and guns but keeps up with the rest of them taking absurd damage without being winded or wounded and hell even laughing about it.
