Man, I mostly hit iron and there seems to be plenty of old iron stuff around my area. Today I just set the machine to avoid it and bingo !

Wife is mad because I'm loading the house with old iron stuff.

Dig all targets.
Repeat DIG ALL TARGETS.

A hoard of gold or silver coins in a iron container will read as iron.
Meteorites read as iron.

That's true. In this case, I know nobody else is hunting in that spot. I am pretty sure I can come back and get all those goodies.

That ring is off a big ass finger... my father in laws wedding ring sits perfectly around a 20c piece (australian). 28.65 mm..... Thats 1.1279528 inches for you folk on here.

This is giving me the itch to go out detecting in my local area again, and THANKS, because that is just the nudge I needed hahaha

Cool finds! Makes me want to get out my Whites GMT - it's more of a small gold specimen/nugget finder but seems to work pretty decent for finding trash and possible jewellery/relics as well. Just have to find a good location to take it.
