Indeed. It appears to be a long wooden pole, with black grip tape and a tiny flag attached to the end.

You beat me too it, I was thinking, extended with a flag tied on. Last time I looked, a flag pole was about 4 inches thick at least and not compatible with a good grip in a scrap situation.

Reading through this thread, I get the impression that people think this dude is doing something wrong.

He's clearly not trying to provoke any kind of attack and speaking in terms of defense...maybe if ANTIFA or whatever insane lefty brigade can manage to make it through an event without initiating violence then nothing will happen,

They have a right to finally start fighting back...people have let these maniacs get away with too much and they're becoming more and more emboldened...smacking people about the head with bike locks, etc.

The liberal agenda has been rejected all over the country and the one thing that the participation trophy generation can`t accept is rejection.being rejected makes them do crazy things.

The SJW and Mayor Landrieu want to remove long-standing monuments that appear on the National Register of Historic Places. The city/area is very divided over it. Boiling. Previous African-American mayors never had an issue with the monuments but the current white mayor is rabid about it and is steamrolling the issue. If anything, there needs to be a referendum, the statues belong to everyone.

Add to this no Indictment last week in the Alton Brown shooting by two LEO in Baton Rouge and tensions are very high - but a lot of it is due to outside agitators.
