It is fake news, this was predicted by Rush Limbaugh about a month ago to sway the Election in favor of Marcon. But we will see.

VIVA Le Pen!

Globalist elites attempting to gain power get hacked, it's just how it is these days. For the better IMO!

Some folks at least seem to try to work for it, trump, le pen, farage... whilst others (the ones who get hacked) seem to just float or glide along on money train and a "who you know" not what you know basis, clinton, macron. Cosying up with people who've been in elite positions for years, possibly playing all of us, would almost say warrants the depths of "hacking" for any new potential looking to become one of these people. But in fairness, that means the other side should also get hacked, so we "the people" get a true balance

Anyway, my point globalist elitism is 2 dimensional these days, to so many ordinary folks, who understand the concept a lot more than they/we did even five years ago, because these somewhat "social" commentaries now flood social media, which in turn makes mainstream news a lot more than it ever did...as such I don't think you need to be Russia to have the desire to hack these people, I really don't...!

Corrupt liar exposed once again, Russians blamed once again.

Unfortunately for Macron it seems France doesn't have the same level of racially-motivated hatred of Russia so common in the States, particularly amongst the increasingly Nazi-like Left.

Problem with that is nobody is 100% certain who's hacking who. Some 'elite' is apparently targeting the left side of Western politics and you don't know what their motivation is.

Sure, you can imagine they're political White Knights trying to save the common man. It could equally be one of the 'state actors' who doesn't have our best interests at heart. Could be a criminal enterprise to disrupt societies and make their activities easier. Whatever the facts, some silent group is apparently selectively hacking one side of the political spectrum.

Uninvited help from someone who won't reveal their identity sounds very risky. Is that how political philanthropists behave? It isn't, is it? It's more like how we've coerced political results in the Americas and Middle East.

But these French polls have been extremely accurate with this election.

They weren't as accurate in the Trump and Brexit polls, nor do they put a lot of stock in their own polls. They are about as accurate as you were last summer and fall when you said Hillary would win.

Although opinion polls forecast that Le Pen will lose to the center-right candidate, François Fillon, most French political observers say the biggest lesson of the past year is not to place too much trust in the polling.

I couldn't say with any accuracy. I don't even know how to reconcile the equation.
I was going by a few sources that had said the polls for what I guess was their primary of sorts last month were pretty accurate.

The media cannot cover this in France and the candidates can't comment on it leaving only social media and the internet to actually disseminate the story.
Also early reports of the hacked data say it's rather benign.
And the French aren't so prone to react to potential scandals like we puritans do. .

Notice I'm not responding to your personal snipe unbreakable.

Has his opponent also been hacked? If not, boy this situation sounds very familiar. One sided hacks against political figures is very lame and unfair.

Give it a God damn rest !

Hackers attack the weakly configured sites, starting with Hillary's extremely poor security measures.

Macron is more of the mental midget same.

So they are doing it just for sports to entertain themselves? Thanks for making me laughing.

Yes, hackers DO engage in this to entertain themselves, as they like an intellectual challenge, unlike the intellectually challenged, but violent and verbose, Left.....

Gotta do something to get the extremists elected. Honestly I wonder if it has been ISIS rather than Russia. ISIS, and groups like them, have a real interest in getting nationalists elected because it spreads radicalism.

There are several good bets you can still make on this election, over at predictit dot org.

I cleaned up on brexit and Trump. I use a super secret algorithm I call little-old lady-election-odds-calculator. It's a virtual green light for making high odds bets against candidates and things the knitting circles are all in a dour mood about....knitting needles furiously clacking away....in frustrated resentment.

It's a little like listening to ancient sonar pings at the bottom of the sea. Jules Verne would be proud....

would you define "malignant feeling or behaviour", in this context, please.
or is fact simply a matter of belief in your mind,
as your exellent counter position of "Thanks for making me laughing again. " is a little too involved for me.

I see one good thing the french do with their elections a 44 hrs black out on all campaign ads,and news reporting of said election so as to not influence their election.

Well hope this is enough to make le pen win. Although I have not come across any juicy information. Seems to be censored big time on twitter and I thought on ATS it would be a big thread by now and on front page. Guess no one cares about this election.

My God, why didn't we think of that..?!

But it's really, really simple, elegant & grand.. If you want to join the ranks of representatives & elected officialdom, just don't, ever, do any nonsense which has the potential to harm your reputation. Indeed, if you have any skeletons in the closet, the hard & fast rule is just NO, don't do it, don't go into politics.. Because if you ever become a big deal, someone will tear down the tower of your success, chipping away the facade & exposing the whitewashed sepulcher which you have allowed yourself to become.

My past is particularly inglorious, and so many years ago I made peace with the fact that I will always attempt to remain as a private individual, and really, I think a lot of politicos should have made the same decision. It's really that simple. Good on you raising the most incisive point - responding in a way that cuts to the core of the subject.

Well I say that because it's mostly white power types I see really attacking Soros but he's generally hated by the right wing regardless because he's their boogyman whose always trying to undermine them. Now that said, I'm not a big fan of his because I watched a short interview he had with 60 Minutes decades ago and when he talked about his past during WWII I was disgusted. But man, white power types really hate a wealthy Jew who they consider a Leftie but little does everyone know these elites aren't Left or Right, they are greedy and in it for themselves playing all sides because you never let a good chaotic situation go to waste and if there isn't one available then they will create it.

So you will attack anyone via Soros yet hold nothing against Team Trump for their ties to Soros? What a lack of integrity you got there.

Yes, because Soros tunrs the left into his useful idiots.
