not coloured or shaded yet, i'll do that on PSP. Kyou is a member of the same religious order as Neiyani and is always accompanied by a great, white wolf. His abs seem a little basic, but they'll be sorted out on PSP. ^^

Another excellent drawing, I like the wolf, the basic drawings of animals are always the best!

With the tree, more atmosphere is created, I know you don't usually draw backgrounds and I don't particularly see the point of them either, but if you coloured in a dark sky in the background, it might look pretty cool!

I am aware that Kyou is facing slightly to his right, but maybe I think his cape falls slightly too soon where his shoulders, or perhaps it's too tight an angle!

But as I say, I think with the cape, wolf and tree, a dark night sky in the background might look really appropriate...

...anyway well done, another successful drawing pooky!

I'm going to do the background dark anyway, so you'll have no worries there! ^^
And I see what you mean about his cape, but why- oh why, didn't you tell me before I inked it in?
lol

I'll continue colouring and shading it tomorrow, during my free lessons. Then I will post the finished version after it's finished.

One thing I have just noticed, Wendell. There seems to be a startling similarity in the pose between your avatar and my picture!
Scary...

okay.. some constructive comment here, no offense

the physique of your characters is pretty good, but theres always room for perfection, practising from real people helps, believe me. get your sister, mom or your brother to pose for you. youll see that it bring some great progress.

try a drawing with ink, instead of pencil, at first it will be messy, but it will do so good, especially for the backgounrd( negative space).

sizing down an image is no shame, all proffesional comic/manga ppl do it. draw it on A3 or A4, scan it and make it half the size and print it on i.e. photo paper.

pardon my english, its pretty early here...

thanks for the advice. I agree, there is a lot of room for improvement in my figure drawing, but I guess I'll just have to practise more. ^^
I would try ink drawing, but I don't have any ink, so it's a little bit of a setback. ^^;

Don't listen to him pook!

He's just jealous probably!

I do notice the striking similarity...the eyes! Although mine is cooler!

By the way I know you haven't posted the new version but it looks well cool! I'm glad you did the background, and sos I didn't tell you sooner!

kyou

Wendell has already seen this i believe. Anyway, I would like some comments on this art and I would like to know if I've improved at CG colouring/shading, since when I did that Neiyani picture. (See Neiyani.)

Thanks!

I see what you mean, the muscles are too wide, they need to be diagonal, wider on the top two then decrease in width with the lower part of the six pack being shortest in width.

That's pretty helpful stuff there!

Sweet! XD But sorry dude, you ain't gettin no more! I'm updating the pic soon though, I've worked into the shading a bit more. The new version looks a little crisper, as I rushed the shading on the present one. ^^; My bad.
Cheers though, I'm glad you approve!

Yeah, your mech looks pretty dope compared to the other guy's!

At last, no more chibi!

I say bring back your anime though!

This is the improved version of my mecha. I worked into the shading using a 6B pencil to accentuate any shadows. It looks a lot better in comparison.
