Like Maddas, my favourite Hang-out place is basically anywhere in NZ...except a little town called Gore...Gore is bad...evil...dirty smell ol' Gore.

Bestest (thats a word here, so put down that dictionary now Estragon) places to hang-out here in NZ are on the banks of the Tongariro River, trout fishing...or lounging on the old mans boat, anchored up and getting liquored up, floating merrily on Lake Taupo...supposedly catching trout again...

...Whangamata on New Years...dodgy dodgy dodgy...pays not to stay long AFTER New Years as the locals tend to try and hunt down anyone they suspect of damaging their front lawn by pulling 'doughnuts' on it in loud lowered cars...or perhaps they are merely looking for their daughters...either way...RUN!

Otara after dark...hey...its good for a fright or two...ummm, those NOT from NZ, picture a city suburb full of large angry brown people...who don't like you...

MY MATES HOUSE IN TAWA!!!!!! Or at least his garage...tends to be the oily greasy site of many a Frankenstien Automotive creation...as well as some actually quite nice street cars getting a few things done here and there...lotsa tools, dodgy hybrid angle-grinders, gas-axes and migs laying around to play with and generally frighten the neighbours well into the night...also a beer fridge and plenty of space...surprisingly, for some reason, not a lot of actual mechanical type works gets down when all the boys come around with their cars...he might have to move the beer fridge and the BBQ then...

Masterton Airstrip or MereMere Dragstrip on Drag Day...vroooooooooom!

Manfield Race Track on Open Day...vroooooooom vroooooooom vroooooooom screeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeech *crash* That last hair-pin is a doosey...

Lower Hutt Carpark on a Thursday night...naughty boy-racer hang-out...great place to watch all the cars do circuits before parking up, a few skids and general maniacal behaviour...and also a great place to watch the Police come through and impound all those mega-expense Jap Imports that were doing those skids and general maniacal behaviours.

MY PARENTS PLACE! Mmmm...mums cooking and a nice warm fire...nuff said...

Peace,
ALIEN

Yeah mate! easy! easy! Jobs are plenty if you are willing to work. Most employers enyoy hiring overseas labour. Houses are easy to rent and cheap. Most tourists I have met have foud it very easy assimilating into Kiwi culture. Average weekly cost of a three bedroom house in New Zealand is around NZ$ 250.00 to 300.00 so that would be roughly about 125 to 150 US dollars a week. The average wage for a labourer here in New Zealand is NZ$ 15-20per hour. So you can see why we have so many overseas peoples living here on working holidays.
Ypu could also cheack with Alien and Netchicken and Seedy sid I think is also a New Zealander.

Are there any more here , Kiwi's raise you hands please.

Well i guess ill have to move ASAP

Anyway i guess is difficult to find IT jobs in some places, meaning no big cities, but small places (quiet and nice
) but id like to know if it is very difficult, because it may be that u need to go to a capital or a major city to be able to get a nice job...
But i supose u can hangout anywhere there, just walk and look everywhere must be amazing!!!
Lets go to NZ
