Some great news for culture vultures...(#Tarkovsky)

I just wanted to tell you that now you have a great opportunity to watch (or watch again) movies by Andrei Tarkovsky for free, legally and in a good quality. Thank Mosfilm and its Youtube channel.

Perhaps Stalker is a good starting point.
Another should-see work is Mirror.
Make sure to click the “CC” icon on the lower right of the Youtube player to turn English subtitles on.

P.S. There is no need read Roadside Picnic before you watch Stalker, they have nothing in common at all.

There's a website named 1150 Free Movies (it was 350 Free Movies when I found it about 5 years ago) that has a bunch of Tarkovsky movies available.
(If one enjoys film noir it's an excellent resource).

I enjoyed "Roadside Picnic", but agree with your sentiments about it.
