You wont be fighting religious ideology in North Korea.

Bingo
This isn't a ideology the people stand behind, its a prison the people are kept in.

all that is needed here is for the doors to be open and let them see the options.

The difference now is that the US has bought China off. Even so, the NK culture of hate towards the US is ingrained,, so deeply ingrained I doubt it will ever change
To win this war, the US will have to set up a non US peacekeeping force the NK people may be able to trust, who?

Nuclear attack is never going to be an option so close to China, they won't allow it

As for beating Germany, they turned Berlin into rubble, the Russians destroyed half the country, the allies the other half. Men women and children fought in the streets. Germany held on till the Reichstagg fell and was swarmed by Russians. Germany was toast
Japan would have done the same, no one doubts that, till the bitter end. It took two nukes and the threats of 12 more, even on Tokyo to stop Japan. Never mind the millions of Japs who chose death over loss
Two unconditional surrenders brought on by massive loss, near total anhialation
You really missed out on your history ewok, old boy

I dont think this article had anything to do with the US, or isthe US planning to do anything about it. This is just a journalist speaking to survivors and ex-gaurds, creating an article.

There is no relation to government or Trump with this article.

I think it's only been brought to the light now because of current events.

I think this article has been brought forward and this information will be used frequently to justify a war
Right or wrong that war is, it will not be about the people of NK, it's about power

If the war was about the people of NK then it should have been carried out by the UN before now.

Let's see if more af these articles break soon

Just preparing the world with this type of journalism
Believe otherwise if you think I am wrong, that's fine

Yes I think your wrong as this journalism is not new!

It has not just appeared.

Testamonies abd evidence has been collected for decaded.

Yeah agree, for a decade or decades
But nobody cared before about the people in NK till Trump started saber rattling

Some people have cared.

I have been bringing this up for years and years only to be told by lefties how North Korea are innocent victims and how its a uptopia that the poor slandered kim dynasty is just trying to hold together.

While I don't doubt many have cared, I don't believe for a second anyone has said its a utopia slandered Kim dynasty. Maybe they just didn't want a war

Why do you keep spouting NK hates America? I could almost guarantee you that 95% of North Koreans would love America. They would love America to come and take over the country.
Please get your facts right. It's not North Korea that hates America. It's Lil Kim and his close cadre of military officials and the few military underlings who get kickbacks for what they do.
It's not America they hate per se, it's ANYONE who wants to strip them of their power. It's not even absolutely about politics or ideology The regime is only using those as excuses to keep the population controlled.
It's ALL about keeping themselves in power living the high life as they see it.

Nobody is going to be nuking anyone! Let's dispense with this kind of talk!

Little wet-skid-mark, Un may wind up accidentally nuking himself (if he hasn't already), but outside of this no one is going to be nuking anyone!

China is not going to let this little twerp do anything! Don't let the MSM fool you (which they are trying very hard to do), China has laid out, in very clear, unmistakable, terms if NK starts feeling "froggy" and starts thinking about "leaping" they will VAPORIZE the very memory of the entire Kim dynasty if they so much as step 1mm over the line and affect Chinese trade commerce (which NK absolutely would by doing something stupid).

Now, regarding the prison camps; as much as I believe some of them do in fact exist, former NK "escapees" have proven to be very notoriously unreliable and their stories wildly differ on the realities of these camps. You have to remember, most of these people have lived under a regime that is so indoctrinated with propaganda that they don't know anything different; they don't have anything to benchmark their experiences against and have shown a penchant for exaggeration for political reasons. These exaggerations have been wildly amplified many times over by over zealous media outlets sensationalizing them for profit motivations. Not defending NK here (at all), but rather just trying to inject some realistic balance. For example, to believe some of these stories it's easy to imagine NK being similar to some of the horrors of Africa when in reality there is no comparison at all. The genocide which took place in places like Darfur and Rwanda was orders of magnitude worse than anything even Kim Jong Un could dream up!

Un reliable? All the accounts and testimonials say the exact same thing!

They are all suddenly arrested, most for doing nothing wrong than being a family member of a dissident.

They are totured into a confession (the acounts of toture are all the same, beating, water bording and pigeoning).

Then the whole family is taken to a camp in the mountains (camps can beszeen via satellite).

All are forced to work in a mine, factory, logging area or field for 16 hours a day 7 days a weeek in dangroug conditions where hundreds die of working accidents.

All are put on starvation rations lacking protien.

Prisoners are executed, beaten and raped for the slightest infraction.

We Americans used to think that things like this only happened in Hell. It's past time that something be done to stop this madness even if it means putting them out of their misery by nuking the whole country.

Why murder an entire country over the sick twisted leader who brainwashed them?! It's not the people's fault. So killing them is a better option to you vs saving the people and giving them their LIVES back, meaning FREEING the people and sacking that S***T leader. I really get annoyed when I see posts like this saying to nuke the whole country. I see it often and I always wonder WHY people feel this way? I would rather give the people of NK a chance at real life. I think that would be the best not nukes!

This kind of stuff happends althroughout history. It really only shocks people who don't know what humanity is capable of. That is not to lessen the horrible nature of these crimes though.

Humanity has no barrier to what it can do to another human being. Our only hope is through a gradual process of higher civilization that has compassion and intelligence.

Far too many naive people in civilized society. Just the other day, someone was complaining about the state of the u.s. They said it is terrible and we are the poorest country...

They don't understand how good we have it compared to many others. How bad things can be and how quickly things can escalate to terrible war.

I think the only solution is to find a way to curve population numbers and create easy energy. Then comes in the problem of massive governmental corruption.. It's fairly easy to be apathetic about human life when you see how hopeless our nature is..

Surgical precision strikes. That is all.

NKPR doesn't need that pudgy little sh!thead or his cronies, his regime is hurting the civilians due to stifling embargoes or the fear mongering propaganda, let alone the death camps.

Then we have China who doesn't want US missile defenses in place in South Korea because they don't want what they think is rightfully theirs bombed, but then again China thinks it has a right to everything eg Tibet, Nepal and so forth.

I think if Noth Korea is liberated we will find horrors not seen since WW2.

As if we don't have horrors here in the US.

Freedom of religion.

It's a much better society in some respects. They don't tolerate cults. Here the US encourages cults to abandon respect for public law. They engage in mass mind manipulation of US citizens. And yet the US does nothing to regulate the formation of new religions in lack of regard for public safety and the pursuit of happiness guaranteed by the nations founding documents like the Bill of Rights.

No porn industry there. Look at all the US sex industry workers who have decided to not continue with their lives because of the industry. North Korea's not all bad. North Korea's extremes in enforcement are no less harsh than the US lack of enforcement of some things in serious need of more regulation.

No wonder the North Koreans are defiant about being starved to death by a nation that imposed sanctions on North Korea for doing business with terrorist supporting nations. When the very country that imposed the sanctions gave money and arms to the Mujahadeen to kill 14,000 Russian soldiers who were invited to fight against the initial push of religious radicals.

Busted your national pride bubble didn't I. I assume that is the source of your bossiness. I think the North Koreans are far more respectful. If North Korea gave me the chance to live in a nation free from murderous cults and freedom of religion I would be proud to move there and integrate socially.

Don't make me post the YouTube Pink Cross videos of all the male and female sex industry actors who have died at the hands of other or their own hands. This nations lack of regulation in that industry is no less a death camp of negligence in legislation, than North Korea's tight grip on order is.
