Barack (can't use his middle name) Obama hailed the resilience of the ACA, and pointed out the ACA (Obamacare) is more popular that Trump.

Former President Barack Obama hailed the political resilience of his signature health care law at a private event Thursday, pointing out that Obamacare is now more popular than his successor trying to repeal it: President Donald Trump.

Obama also predicted it would be very difficult to make changes to the ACA because so many people get health insurance from it, he also said it was difficult to get the ACA (goat screw) passed in 2008.

Obama also predicted Thursday that it will be challenging for Trump and fellow Republicans to make any sweeping changes to a law that now provides health insurance for so many people, as he remarked how difficult it was for him to get Obamacare enacted into law in 2009.

didnt seem all that difficult to me considering they got it to pass without people even knowing what was in it. wasnt it nancy pelosi that said we had to pass it to find out what was in it. id love to see trump try that just for the hypocritical outrage.

If Obamacare is so good why he didn't use it. That brand sucks, that's why.

If Obamacare keeps going in the direction it has been aiming at, Obamacare will be hated by everyone if two more years. It didn't work. It is a flop. If Obama cannot see it, then he must be blind. Or a flop.

It started out as a good concept, but there were way too many flaws in it and it caused a lot of employers to drop their employee health insurance. Obamacare needs to be replaced. I do not think the Republicans have a good plan yet. Hey, at least Obama tried, I give him credit for that. But it turned out to be way too expensive, you cannot give an open checkbook to the medical industry. Can it be fixed? I doubt it, the core of it is wrong.

I think we should go to socialized medicine like much of Europe and Canada has. We cannot become a nation that either works for healthcare or supports healthcare. We need to get back on track. Healthcare is becomming a bigger and bigger scam nowadays, with tests that are not needed now at over a quarter of all tests.

its because to fix it there will be increases in costs thus taxes. its always been my stance that they will go after the biggest tax base in the US to do that. its more like the dems left a ticking timebomb and the only way to actually make it work will piss everyone off. imo they should just let it fail

Well I don't think he's off the mark in saying that. The polls have Obamacare more poplar than Trump:
www.washingtonpost.com...

If Hillary was president, I wouldn't be surprised it'd be more popular than her as well.

Barack (can't use his middle name)

Why would you need to say his middle name in the first place?

This right here.

I don't buy the excuse Trumps alternative was voted out because it wasn't 'conservative enough'. They are scared of a backlash otherwise this wouldn't been repealed a long long time ago.

Millions are signed up. Even Trump is smart enough to know what he's in for if he repeals it.

Seeing how Trumpy got his butt handed to him over his joke of a healthcare it does look like the ACA is more popular. So in conclusion.

honestly thats much more on the people in the republican party. those are the people who write these bills up just like the ACA was written mostly by the democratic people in power at the time but not obama himself. it kinda points to the fact that ive always thought the repubs hate trump just as much as the dems and are out to make sure he fails aswell. when he fired shots off at everyone in govt he set himself up for a very hard uphill fight.
