I am grateful that this one event woke me up to the true nature of power and politics, but sometimes I miss my ignorance.

I am with you on that.

Sometimes I wished I was ignorant because, truths can be painful, especially when there is nothing that one can do about it.

My opinion is, how the government gets away with it is, using mainstream properganda New outlets, many political talking point TV shows to steer the millions of viewers into believing their properganda.

Example: After 911 happened the Mainstream media kicked in gear attacking anyone who spoke out against the OS narratives, by charator assassination, name calling, and the big one everyone who dared asked questioned, or had a difference of "opinions" other than the OS narratives where labeled "conspiracy theorist" .

This is a well known operation created from the CIA, and remember who controls the FCC today, it is the CIA.

This is the cheapest way of controlling the masses, hiring talking heads.

Do not worry brothers. We are still here, fighting. Believing. We still are staging the jailbreak, to swim against the flow.

I took an oath, that no matter the challenge, I will continue to try with due diligence to smudge the mirrors of this so called "magic trick" of that day, so more people will see them through the smoke.

Don't lose heart, brothers.

Also, I was in a debate whether or not this post should have gone into 9/11 conspiracies, or War on Terrorism. It was mostly about the actual events afterward; the juxtaposition of the type of attack and MO present in terror attacks to 9/11, but when I went to see if I even could add a post into 9/11's forum I was greeted by a "You can't post in this thread because of ATS members fighting to the death" message. Goodie.

It's true, just look at the other 911 threads running on the board right now. So far this thread has been very civilized, but I don't expect that to last long.

We are in an information war, something I learned while researching many things about 911 around 2004.

Never, had I seen, such malicious attacks against people for having a difference of opinions when it come to researching many terrorist attacks and events .

I believe what really started most of this, is when George Bush said in one of his famous speeches you are either with us, or you are against us, let's not listen to conspiracy theories about 911.

I will take a stab at devils advocate...

Nothing on that scale had hit us before, so the thought that such an attack was dismissed out of hand because... well nobody had tried it before so it was considered a low chance of happening.

Since then, after getting caught with their pants down the billions upon billions spent on intel are now focused on the homerun ball rather than the little hitters... hence all the lone wolf type attacks that have been succeeding so well.

To sum up..

buttercup marry humperdink in little less than half an hour...

err wait..

pre-911 intelligence assets were focused on what would now be considered the lone wolf style attacks... post 911 they are focused on the home run type attacks... because well the fed seems incapable of doing anything except responding to the last attack rather than staying flexible.

eta: to be honest I lean towards the official story, but no I do not accept it as 100% gospel truth, there was more to it and the truth could very well radically change things in the world.

What?

I don't understand what you mean by 'Greeted by'?

You mean someone said you were not allowed to post this thread in the 911 forum?

I had typed a very long reply to informer, that was trashed when my "Connection reset" so; to reply to the three of you:

D8tree: anyone with a WATS score that doesn't meet a requirement cannot post in the 9/11 forum due to how ATS members treat 9/11 topics, apparently. because obviously the OP directs everyone elses' decorum in the thread, right?

Irish: The difference in MO is what I'm getting at, not just the scale. The way everything had been pulled off extremely perfect, to better-than-SEAL levels (no crashed stealth-copters), doesn't fit the same MO as what we see nowadays with better tech, better funding, and 16 years of additional training from the same groups. We see failed attacks, and the same kinds, over and over. and not a single attempted plane hijacking since (TSA stopping them doesn't make sense because they haven't, and if they haven't, then they wouldn't just assume that they couldn't get by. 85% of the attempted smuggling on of firearms and weapons make it on to the plane, in an undercover report conducted). also, as I stated, its the same as looking at a serial, career rapist as the chief suspect in a money laundering scheme. Different MOs, different perpetrators.

And Informer; last but certainly not least: I am a youngin'. If i can deduce that your numbers in your name give away your birthyear, which wouldnt be all surprising, given that ATS is home to many different generations; you and I share different histories when this event happened and how it effected us. Different but similar.. I remember it clearly, even though I was 9. I am 25 now, and I still remember how the country was before, and the stark change afterward. How quick it changed. Five years after, we were all fighting about what to believe, what not to. Ten years after. Fifteen years. Sixteen.

And here we are today, people still refusing to even entertain the fact they were lied to. That Americans might have been implicit in Americans' deaths. Its almost like trying to tell a 7 year old boy, that his mother is working against him.

It wasn't until 911 however, that we thought a hijacked aircraft would be used as a flying bomb

Wow, you must be on drugs.

This video highlights how crazy your statement is:

The level of cognitive dissonance in this country is stunning!

Thank you, that is a wonderful analogy, and very true.

I agree. Many years ago while the 911 Commissaires would make comments to mainstream Press, I knew there was a major problem. In the end, the 911 Commissaires told the Press, that they had been stonewalled on every turn they made.

In fact, the 911 Commissaires wanted a criminal investigation done by the Justice Department into the Pentagon, FAA, and the White House, because they were all lying and couldnt keep their stories straight.

Another fact was the 911 Commissionaires made it very clear claiming they were set up to fail. Doors slam tight.

This alone told the American people that our government had something terrible to hide.

There was no investigation into 911, what the American people got were excuses, and a lot of silence to their unanswered questions.

This alone pointed to one of the greatest cover ups in our government and many many gag orders where put in place.

The project for a new American century has succeeded.

Yes, it has. To add: Some of the last remaining states against Real ID are caving in.

WHERE OH WHERE are the old ATSers that were screaming about government tracking ten years ago? You're a fellow old-topsecreter like myself, (who our registered dates are years after our first visits) and can probably remember the guys I'm talking about...

But really- Government tracking you entering specific buildings, making specific purchases, etc... Seems like a "Your papers, please"-state is initiating...

Good question, many moved on with a "can't beat 'em, join 'em" with technology views as mentioned. Also, the Snowden revealings(may have desensitized some-seen claims of that- and others just don't see it as a concern). As well as, topped with the backlash I've observed and have personally received from posting anti privacy in technology news topics, may just be a combination of those.

I always had a suspicion that it would have been really hard to prime that whole building (7) in that time, even using c4 you still would need to place a charge on each steel beam. You would need a TON of guys to get it done in a day, let alone an afternoon with most of the city on lockdown. I bet they wouldn't even have kept that amount of demo anywhere close to manhattan for safety reasons.

source- worked in demolitions

I have a question, I often hear that the towers fell at 'free fall' speed.

How come then, in the following picture, the ejected debris is so far ahead of the collapse?

When president Bush was first informed about the first jet hitting the WTC, the official story says he was told by an aide that we were under attack. To me this is the biggest smoking gun of all. The first thing that would take place if the US was attacked would be for the president to be escorted to a safe location. We have video proof that this did not happen. Even after the second jet hit the WTC, Bush was still not rushed out to be transported to a safe location or to Air Force One. I've never been able to wrap my head around that. If someone could explain why that protocol wasn't followed I'd greatly appreciate it.

Because the debris is being -blown- out. Back of the envelope calculations put some huge pieces of debris moving at quite a chalked up pace. Check out some videos about it.

The buildings really did fall at damn near freefall speed. That is, unhindered.

Might I add, this is the first time in a long time, that I've seen a post with "9/11" make it to the home page, especially one with so very little bickering.

We've come a long way, ATS.

Truth- we may never know. But only if we give up, and stop trying.

Since 2004, at least, there has been attempts at trying to figure it all out. New information comes out all the time.

And sadly more witnesses die off.

Hate to say it, but..... we need aliens.

It'll cure a whole range of symptoms.

arguably, add a lot more. Biologically speaking, we'd be screwed. it'd be like bubonic plague times ten.

That's only a maybe, holds as much poise as my point,

It's the unknown.
