Soooo, let's get this straight. The Mainstream media, i.e. those that push for globalism and bigger government, are reporting that most of the citizens in the U.S. actually want the government to be even bigger.

And we're supposed to believe them?

Yes

Do you think this poll is accurate?

i'm sorry, a poll of 900 hundred people, and not knowing what part of the country they surveyed. i'm not gonna believe it.
no way 900 people can represent a country of 320 million.

and here is the poll, warning opens a PDF. the more government question is #10

The NBC/WSJ poll

What Socialist Communist propaganda in schools?

Please give me an example of what that would be?

The rich should pay their fair share.

Earth citizen -save the planet.

Basically everything belongs to the collective.

Shouldn't they? Why should they (or corporations) pay less than others who make less?

Why should we not be good stewards of the planet?

I've had quite a few lower-income working people tell me that they were seriously contemplating trading work for government welfare payments and free health insurance.

After taxes, someone making $25,000 a year gross, would increase their standard of living, and have loads of free-time, if they knew how to tap into all the government freebies that the Obama administration invented, and enhanced.

In Hawaii, the benefits for NOT being employed equaled $57,000 a year in 2014.

To be honest, here is how I assess these polls. 900 people were polled...900 people who can't figure out how to avoid spam calls OR 900 people who intentionally answer their party's dog whistles to skew polls to meet their paty's narrative. Love him or hate him, President Trump's election demonstrated how much creedence you should put in polls.

Not when half of this country isn't.

www.marketwatch.com...

Maybe richphobes should lead by example.

Why should we not be good stewards of the planet?

When climatephobes begin to pay my property taxes. They might get to tell me what to do with my own property.

What a bunch of BS. Other than the alleged Obama phone, which I've never seen, name one "freebie" that didn't exist before Obama.

Of course people want government to help them because the corporations have destroyed their lives.

Public education itself is actually a form of socialism, for starters.

No-one does a poll unless they have an agenda. With results predetermined by leading questions.

So your argument is simply, if others don't why should they?

Question again: Why should the rich and corporation pay less than others?

When climatephobes begin to pay my property taxes. They might get to tell me what to do with my own property.

You didn't answer the question, you deflected to partisan talking points.

Question: Why should we not be good stewards of the planet we all live on?

They are real. They just weren't good enough for those on government benefits.
The Obama phone went in a drawer, and people used other government benefits to buy smartphones.

Total waste of government funds.

No the argument is if x isn't paying income taxes Y has exactly zero right to be saying a damn word.

And look up the word partisanship because someone clearly isn't using it in its correct sense.

Asked and answered.

The actual question...

I'm going to read you two statements about the role of government, and I'd like to know which one comes closer to your point of view. (ROTATE STATEMENTS.)

Statement A: Government should do more to solve problems and help meet the needs of people.

Statement B: Government is doing too many things better left to businesses and individuals.

I strongly agree with both.

What percentage of the 300 million American citizens have had their lives "destroyed" by corporations?
