So Toms announcement was nothing to do with the recent NASA announcement, as i thought it was( i felt like that was BIG news!)
however Tom has gave us a little update via social media....

now i haven't looked too much into the Antarctica stuff, so dont really know much proof of whos been there and why, but i did see this article from the good old Express about something that looks like a broken away iceberg, however "experts" claim this is not possible.

Now conspiracy theorists claim to have found evidence of an alien base on Smyley Island, off the west coast of the Antarctic Peninsula, on Google maps.

They believe this peculiar object, around 500-metres long, near the Antarctic could be an underwater alien base.

Theories about secret bases in the Antarctic have circulated for years – with one conspiracy detailing that the Nazis had secret bases in the southernmost continent which they used to experiment on captured UFOs during WWII.

The new object was spotted on Google maps by website UFO Sightings Hotspot which has revealed its "findings".

The unusual object has been described as a "large body of ice sheered off of the side of the continent".
Many people have reacted to say that it is just an iceberg, but UFO hunters say its strange shape rules the suggestion out.

The website says it does not fit with the normal shapes of usual categories of iceberg.

It said: "Icebergs can be classified on the basis of their shape.

"The two basic types of iceberg forms are tabular and non-tabular.
"The shapes and forms from this iceberg look very different if we compare it with all the different shapes and forms of tabular and non-tabular icebergs."

The website added: "I'm not an iceberg expert but this object is really peculiar and looks like a vessel disguised as an iceberg.

"It looks out of place."

But UFO sceptic Scott Brando said: "I don't see any mystery, it just looks like ice."


I dont know if Toms announcement will be relating to Antarctica, but it looks like he is planning something BIG, and i am kinda glad it wasn't the NASA one........ thoughts??

How exactly does an unusual shape rule out an iceberg being an iceberg? Has he been to said base, or is this just another of his third hand proofs?

Why does DeLonge say his announcement will be in 90 days, then 60 days, then a few weeks, then delayed? Why not just announce it when it is ready? Unless he is deliberately trying to increase anxiety about it.

If TDL does have some breaking news to reveal, asides from an announcement that he has yet another book coming out and that we need to buy it in order to "read between the lines," then I hope it's something as earth shattering as he's making it out to be.

hmm i sincerely hope not, although if it was that "BIG" and he is releasing it, he would for sure disclose it in something that would sell, if it is about his upcoming documentary then it had better be some new material, or i will switch to the side of believing he is merely using all this to make money in a new career and he has no interest or ability to disclose anything........... but for now i am still on the fence!

You know...Tom seems like a good guy, very sincere and committed. But honestly, I think he's being used to further an agenda and is not aware of it. I don't think he's milking this for his own personal gain.

I think he's being fed information on a schedule, and there's been an unforeseen delay in the flow. Perhaps the narrative had to be edited at the last minute for some reason. All I know is, I detect no guile from him personally, but I think his information is either heavily edited or completely fabricated, and that is very deliberate on the part of whomever is giving it to him.

He's making money off a book that's supposed to "prepare" the reader for "revelations to follow" in subsequent books.

He is 100%, unequivocally, without a doubt milking this for his personal gain.

I'm with you. It will be a total trolling of the UFO community if he pulls a Buy my book or buy my documentary.
I will give up on him 100% and even go as far as creating hundreds of fake twitter and instagram accounts to spam him with unsavoury messages non stop.
All day every day.

I'll even ask that guy who sent that other guy who had epilepsy, to send TDL a bunch of his seizure inducing videos. Every time TDL gets a stupid chime on his stupid cell phone saying he has a new stupid twitter notification, he will cringe full of terror and panic at what may possibly be another flashy video...

Well maybe I won't go that far, but I damn sure will create a rant thread on ATS to express my disdain, finishing with stupid hashtags like #TDLstinkz or #TDLisfullofdiareahandotheryuckystuff.

His handlers want to reveal this item at an opportune time.

He doesn’t realize the way he’s doing this looks too manipulative or he does realize it.

With all the books he has claimed to read about UFO history has he read the ones like Mirage Man, and others detailing the DOCUMENTED disinformation and sinister lies and deceptions the government people did, such as drive Paul Bennowitz crazy.

I am in total agreement with you. I don't think Tom is in this for the money. According to the link below, his net worth is currently about $65 million. That said, I do question the motives of those who seem to be feed him his "inside" information.

That wasn't really what I meant by personal gain. Obviously, he's making a living, just like he did when he was with Blink. That's the nature of entertainment, which in his case I believe he should have kept separate from because it only serves to distort any positive impact his message might actually have had otherwise.

I'm talking about personal gain from an ego standpoint. He's not being intentionally deceptive and leading the public on a merry chase so that he can just sell his books and videos. He honestly thinks he is doing something great, and his handlers are telling him that the best way to do this is through media and entertainment. They're using him and he's just awestruck enough to believe they're actually giving him the straight story. That he's been chosen. He truly believes that he is a champion for the truth. I feel kind of sorry for him because he's being used.

ive been entertained thus far, and looked in to a load of new things because i have been following Tom, im an openminded skeptic, if there is such a thing? i like to believe in any possibility and research it as if its true, however i am an occams razor type, although no need to research the simplistic reasons, i have others to tell me them, yet at the end i will not be surprised if it is all a sham, i will just learn that bit more..... such is life!

A guy peddling a book would be all right with me; merely dissemination his personal philosophy is just fine. It’s the other possibilities that are problematic such as being a tool for disinformation. I’m not saying he is but that is the issue as far as I’m concerned. Selling a book, no problem, that’s the American way
