Despite the lowest approval rating of any modern day POTUS within the first 100 days of their term, as of today, Trump would still beat Hillary. Yes, Trump is despised among the majority, but Hillary is even more disliked, apparently.

A new Washington Post poll that declares President Trump as "the least popular president in modern times," waits until the second to last paragraph to reveal another tidbit: A new Washington Post poll that declares President Trump as "the least popular president in modern times," waits until the second to last paragraph to reveal another tidbit: He'd still beat Hillary Rodham Clinton if the election were held today and in the popular vote, not just Electoral College

The new survey finds 46 percent saying they voted for Clinton and 43 percent for Trump, similar to her two-point national vote margin.Asked how they would vote if the election were held today, 43 say they would support Trump and 40 percent say Clinton

Either that or they are checking his approval in California and New York.

Trump was a life-long Democrat ... just like Reagan. I find nothing appealing about the guy at all, but I kind'a liked Reagan as a person, so who knows.

Still ... I voted for him to oppose the election of Hillary. It simply had to be done ... and I think most of the people who showed up to the polls knew this.

Now that he's in office ... and walking back the promises he made on the campaign trail ... I wouldn't shed a tear if something really really bad happened to him. I think that's why his numbers are low enough that they can be artificially kept low by the pollsters and MSM.

Yep ... Trump sucks, but Hillary would have been a Cheese Grater.

I voted the same way. I didn't particularly like Trump. But my hatred for Hillary outweighed my dislike for Trump. Do I have buyer's remorse? Sure. But if I had to do it again, I'd do it the same way. I wouldn't want that witch anywhere near a position of ultimate power.

What are you supposed to do when you see the face of evil?

Usually they say the election is picking the lesser of two evils and by that we mean the least bad candidate. But this year, we actually did have evil sitting in one of the candidate slots.

Pretty clear choice.

It's weird to me that they would even mention Hillary.

Also your link is broken.

That's not saying much considering the media got caught inflating polling for their preferred political ideology.

This means CLinton,Obama, and CLinton again.

Well first of all who believes in any polls after the disastrous fails of the fake news outlets should know better by now and second of all the MSM never made any effort to portray Trump in a positive light. Just look at all the people who still defend Obama after the illegal surveillance stunts he pulled. There is also the bogus russian collusion narrative that persuaded a lot of american people who still believe everything the media tells them. The unfair and very biased media coverage of Trump revealed that the world wide MSM is not to be trusted. That goes for both sides unfortunately.

I still have high hopes that Trump is working around the clock and behind the scenes to put an end to all of this bs. I want him to go nuclear so bad but that would most certainly end up in a lot of vigilantism. Important people and celebrities would be immediately hunted down and killed without the chance of a trial. The truth would set us free of course but it would result in pure mayhem. I dived deep down the PG rabbit hole even after the fake news term got created out of thin air and a lot of people dismissing it as a hoax. The evidence that people dug up and the resulting implications are far worse than you could possibly ever imagine. It's disgusting, vile and every evil person involved in that sort of thing deserves to die 1000x times over. I'm really torn between wanting it to be exposed all at once and live with the pure chaos that would definitely ensue or just biding my time and wait until the silent and invisible majority decides to act and shake the very foundation of our society to it's rotten core. I would have probably kickstarted the overdued revolution in a another life but for now i can just watch and observe. It sucks so much to feel so powerless and it's beyond frustrating.

I want to see her buried six feet under first after that i might consider letting her go. The Leprechaun and her cronies deserve every torture imaginable and far worse for their crimes against humanity.

I'm an enthusiastic Trump supporter and do sincerely believe that this poll is an accurate snapshot of where things are right now, but I long ago quit having any faith in any polling involving President Trump.

Throughout the primaries and general election -- as was proven Big League on Election Night, the polls were always wrong where Trump was concerned.

I also believe there's a Trump version of a reverse "Bradley Effect" in play where respondents might be hesitant to voice their support for him to pollsters for whatever reason.

Even if all the polling in aggregate were remotely accurate, we're only 100 days into President Trump's first term and they simply don't affect the political reality at all.

Who is the media and how is it that they have any ideology at all let alone one they're all a part of? Isn't it weird that the only media claiming inflated polls are openly ideological? A little digging might show you that the owners, CEO's, boards etc... tend to vote and Lobby Republicans.

Trump at his absolute worst is still better than Hillary at her very best.
2016 was the year that polls of any kind died, especially political polls.

I am not sure what to make of that. George HW Bush is an outspoken Trump critic, but he was a conservative republican when the guy was his AG, so does that imply that the AG should be for or against Trump?

Things have changed...much of the older right would be considered left today. The left today is so far off the path it is hard to say just what they are. Socialist? Environmentalist? Anarchist? Subsistence life style?.... Whatever it is there isn't a lot of care for jobs in the private sector.
