TIDES :

as its clear that some people here - dont understand how ocean tides work - and why certain locations have the tidal range they do , hers 2 locations that nail it :

marbella spain

cadiz , spain

despite being at the same latitude - the tidal range at cadiz = 3.4m , marbella = 0.8m

there is far more to tidal range than just latitude

as the above examples show

and just to really confound the " latitude argument " :

marseille , france

max range = 0.3m

vs

bilbao , spain

max range = 4.5m

marseille and bilbao are near identical latitude [ translation - i could not be arsed to google tide stations that had a smaller latitude shift ]

yes - latitude does affect tidal range - but other factors play a bigger role

see marseille and marbella - marbella has a greater tidal range DESPITE being further south

any questions about tides ?

as this threadb is about the flat earth delusion - not the veracity of the apollo missions

its sufficient that you accept that the retro-reflector arrays are indeed on the moon and are used to make the most accurate measurments of the moon / earth distance that we have to date

now the relevant question - whats the distance from the earth to the moon

the relevance of this is that the correct answer falsifies the flat earth delusion in one fell stroke

so - what do YOU accept as the distance ?

If anyone suggests it is the atmosphere keeping the plane in sync with Earth's rotation you need to do some more thinking because it is easy to demonstrate that it is not.

So what you saying, the earth is not really spinning? The sun rotates around the earth then? Is that what you're saying?

Not sure about flat earth but without a doubr NASA is a hoax.

So if the earth is in fact spinning, ya, what keeps you in sync with the spin, as you're flying?

I don't know. How about an all encompassing push from above and push from below at same time???

Also... All encompassing glass ceiling might be worth paying attention to...

if the earth is flat, why is it daylight here in australia right now, but night time for my american friends i'm currently chatting with?

the other thing i can't get away from is that every single airline pilot who ever lived would have to be in on it, and that's....... that's a lot of people to keep what so many of you keep insisting would be such an incendiary secret.

Did you not see the wire he grabbed on to? It's very thin so you wouldn't be able to see it even as he spun around, only time it was noticeable was when the other guy grabbed hold of it. Also notice how the ladies hair barely moves and yet in other NASA space videos the womans hair floats all over the place?

The dome is most likely made of glass. en.m.wikipedia.org... The glass pieces they found match the bibles description in Job 37:18

If there is a glass dome surrounding us where does the heat from the sun escape to? A glass dome would cause a green house effect most likely heating up everything inside the dome to temperatures that are unlivable.

The article you linked to says the Libya glass is most likely caused by a meteorite impact. Libyan glass is yellow why don't we see a yellow dome over the earht?
And since you brought up meteorites by linking to the article. How do meteorites get past the dome?

They cost so much, because there are so few commercial flights there. The airline still has to pay for maintenance and fuel on the aircraft, and if you only have a couple flights a week, with a handful of people on board, you charge more. It's a hell of a risk flying any kind of plane down there, and if something were to happen and it get stuck there, that's a plane out of their fleet that could end up hurting later.
