hello Bug if you around and reading along!

True, sounds like a great time except for the physical pain part. I am rather excited about this band you might join. You must miss playing your bass very much. Even if you don't decide to join, you can jam and have fun with that. Do keep us posted on that. You know what they say, "Once a musician, always a musician'. Well, that's what I say anyway.

Jess, that spoon says it all! LOL! Cool donut pillow thingy, Like Jacy, I could use one for my neck and my butt. We'd look cute sitting by side by side with our new donut pillows. Ahahaha! I just got visuals on that.

chiefsmom, yep, had a thunder storm last night and lots of rain. Nice today but more rain coming this week. Blah! Well, the plants and trees are happy I'm sure. Bahahaha, Ester had the wrong equipment! I did that with my turtle when I first got him. I gave it a girls name and later found out it was a boy. Now I just call him big boy. LOL

Jacy, with so many homeless kitties, you will easily be able to find a new fur baby. I call shelter cats 'prisoners'. Not that they aren't treated well, but to see so many in cages is so sad. Save a life and get a shelter kitty!
The shed has its slow days and then days at warp speed. People who don't have much of a life will pop in more often, like me. LOL! Busy week for me though coming up. Tomorrow my day out with Linda for lunch and groceries and whatnot, Friday out with my Sister, Aunt and a couple of cousins and Saturday a long awaited wedding.

Gordi, you big happy bunny you! Glad you had such a great time! When are you and Tom going to do another music collaboration? Speakingof Tom, where has he gone to? I think he is off having grand adventures with Aria and Troll.

Hello Night, who's wedding are you going to on Saturday?

Hi Night.
Sounds like you have a fun couple of days coming up.

It is supposed to be chilly this weekend here, but I will have the monsters this weekend, so we will find something fun to do.

Blue, I have a Niece who has been with her boyfriend for like 15 years. They were quite young when they met, had two gorgeous little boys together...it is time for a lovely wedding! That will be on Saturday. I have a big basket of romantic or heart shaped things in it. I decorated a white photo album and glued on a sprig of white silk flowers with little pearls hanging. I have a couple of gorgeous picture frames, heart shaped candles and other things, plus a card with money in it. I made a big beautiful bow for the basket with a rose in the center. It came out beautiful!

Chiefsmom, Ooooh, do crafts with the monsters! How old are they?

If I disappear, it's because I'm coloring my hair and will be popping in and out as always.

Geez, I want to get re-married, just to invite you. That basket sounds lovely!

They are three. Right now, they just want to build stairs with blocks, for the animals I keep buying them. I do get a good laugh, when the giraffe keeps biting the lion. Apparently he is naughty. (and they don't get to watch real nature shows yet!)

We did finger paint a bird house though. That was fun. Sometimes I have issues with them not wanting to get "dirty", as their other grandma is a clean freak. But they are learning I am not. If it would be 80 out this weekend, we would be playing in the mud puddles.

Monsters is about how I refer to the Shepherditos. They were digging a nice big hole in the garden while I was working on the grape vine this past weekend. What could be better than a bunch of moist black dirt, right?

You sound like a wonderful Grand Mother! Kids must get dirty and play in the dirt and mud! I made the best mud pies in town. LOL

Oh the finger painted bird house sounds awesome!

I never had kids of my own, we had pets instead, but I was always the cool Aunt. I guess because I'm a big kid at heart and loved to color and do crafts and stuff with them. They are all grown now with kids of their own. Mixing the hair color stuff now. I will feel at least ten years younger and perkier when my hair is done. LOL

HA! I still love when you call them sheperditos!

As a kid, I was always wandering around in the woods across the street. My Parents didn't want me to go there. They finally gave up and allowed it because I couldn't stay away...and I always came home safe and sound. Mom wasn't too happy when I brought home a salamander in a shoe box once though. She was freaked out and said it would die anyway and to return it. I was mortified and had no idea that it wouldn't be safe living in a shoe box. LOL

LOL, I need clarification. Kids or dogs? Although, either one would love digging in the garden!

@ Night. I am currently protesting "coloring" my hair. It gets harder to look at, the greyer it gets, but it is so much work! But I do sometimes get it "highlighted" which makes it harder to see!

I remember capturing dozens of grasshoppers with my cousin when we stayed with them in Colorado. Grandma & my mom were both very clear: NO GRASSHOPPERS IN THE HOUSE!!

a reply to: chiefsmom
It's hard to tell sometimes, actually. They look like human children, but act like puppies a lot of the time. They mark their territory with messes, demand food constantly, and destroy furniture with glee and reckless abandon.

Pft! My dogs were WAY easier and less destructive than my son's, or my grandsons. LOL
Although.... the bulldog is putting a permanent dent in the couch cushion, from lack of movement. We only know he is still alive, due to the snoring.

Howdy!

Been lurking for a bit. Got Macy on my lap/right arm/keyboard so couldn't respond without disturbing her.
Also don't have much to say right now, just "hi".

Right? The Shepherditos are all boys. It's not even the level of destruction that boys are capable of. It's the speed. I can leave a room straightened up and literally 90 seconds later they've created three messes covering the floor. And why do they always choose the games with 350 pieces to take out and set up on the morning when company is coming over that afternoon? Is it genetic?

chiefsmom, I do my own hair. With a coupon and Walmart prices, it's cheap. 30 minute waiting time and I'm done. With dark brown hair, greys are quite noticeable on me. I always said I would grow old gracefully and wouldn't care about the grey. I was wrong! LOL

Blue, thank you! Just give me two or three black Russians and I'll be happy.

Shep, LOL! Puppies, kids, it's all the same. Hubby and I decided on pets instead, they're cheaper and quieter. Did I say quieter? My siamese is a talker.

Just kidding, that's not really the title.

Your Siamese could be doing a samba complete with accompanying orchestra and still not be as loud as three boys roughhousing. We've had to get a noise permit from the township...
