Unfortunately it looks like a sequel will never happen. This is due in part to Splice not bringing in much money in the US market. A partial script was created in 2011 having Dren (come back from the dead I guess) going shopping for shoes in Saudi Arabia and getting quite a surprise from the Muslim women there. The director thought is might offend too many people in the Middle East.

Dren shopping for shoes in Saudi Arabia? LOL! Have you seen Dren's feet? A shame though that there wasn't a sequel. I found it quite imaginative and there was great potential for a continuation of the story. Dren was an amazing creation, unpredictable and in the end very dangerous. The woman who created Dren was pregnant in the end which left us hanging.

1.5 weeks in ... I am over everything smelling and tasting like flu !!

Chili gives some semblance of flavour ... but ultimately falls short ...

What is the two hat trick you ask ?

You go to bed and place a hat at the foot of the bed.
Next you swig liberally at a bottle of scotch/bourbon.

Once you can see two hats ... get under the doona and sweat it out !

Good morning my beautiful Shedigans! Our weekend was amazing!!! Just went by way too quick! Here is a picture of the cute family that stopped by before we left. This is one of the cubs, momma came by with 3 cubs, it was too cute!
The fire damage is shocking but the undergrowth is already starting to fill in. I will post more picture this evening after I get home. OK, I have some catching up to do....anybody got the cliff note version?
