That's not a hologram either. Not every volumetric or 3D display is a hologram. More, that display is not only low res (there are reasons) it's noisy. A plasma bloom 'voxel' makes a pop when it forms, a bunch of them sounds like a buzz saw.

At the very least 'jetpacks' could be misunderstood as drones. There are many you can stand on already and fly around. And one that pulls you through the sky connected to a cord.

.. remeber all them shows in 70s that had guys flying around the country side that wasn't a man on a harness attached to a crane it was a dude in a hydrogen peroxide rocket belt.
