Let us welcome Turkey into official dictatorship

Turkey has voted, apparently the vote will be yes for a constitutional referendum. Erdogan will now propose constitutional laws that keep him in power for life.

Bravo Turkey, you make modern civilization look foolish, but fret not, Russia will be excited.

With most of the ballots opened in the Turkish referendum on constitutional reform, over 51 percent of voters have supported expanding the powers of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, local media report. Around 97% of ballots have been counted, Turkey's state-run Anadolu news agency says adding that the "yes'' votes are leading with 51.45%. The lead has narrowed to three points.

Hard to imagine anyone dumb enough to vote to give someone that much power.

Maybe we need this in our country. Everyone hates Congress. Everyone loves the military. Maybe we need a strong right wing military style dictatorship in this country! Then the government will finally get things done for a change.

its the people that are voting and choosing what they want, the locals, the citizens of Turkey, are you a Turk or are you another westerner that like always wants to impose what ever they want on other nations

Most People also liked Hitler until word got around that jews and other "deploreables" are NOT sent to the holiday at the beach / out of country but gassed. This was some years after WW1 and the population got lured in on the promise of a better Germany. But that was another age, before the internet. As I see it, it´s already handled like the newspapers back then.

I´m trying to say that neutral, because I mean it that way. Most (elderly, so 30+) Turkish men I know... All about machismo. Erdogan gives them that, so it´s a big sympathy factor.

Austrians wanted into the new German Empire(formerly Prussia) by a 95% margin if memory serves...

The Germanic war haplotype had to be eradicated....world war II was merely an extension of the Marcomannic Wars where the mighty romans tried unsuccessfully to extinguish this fighting race of men endowed with high inherent iqs and a thirst for battle...a highly dangerous population of humans to say the least...
