It failed because Mercury Retrograde is rocking the heavens! lel

Seriously now, sabotage? lack of technical maintenance, or maybe they are actually afraid to push their luck but dont want to back down gracefully.

Now what if all NK's failures are caused by secret UFO tech?
It would explain why USA seems to be so chilled about EMP or reports that NK could have ability to strike US since years.

I see. So what do you think will be the US response to this?

Probably the same as every other time. Maybe move more missile defenses into the area, but not much IMO.

So little to no chance of this escalating further? Good, let's hope it stays that way.

At the moment North Korea's best chance at nuking another country is to nuke themselves and hope prevailing winds bring radiation to other countries.

I doubt it. There's no way they missed this missile getting ready to launch. They even started a routine training deployment of F-35s to Europe today. They wouldn't have tied up the tankers if they were planning on responding to this with any kind of force.

So the U.S. has a whole naval fleet sailing around N. Korea, and China has 100,000 troops near the N. Korea border, and there's U.S. troops in S. Korea.

And this crazy nut launches a missile !!!

Only a total mental case would do this.

A whole naval fleet? Hyperbole much? It's a single carrier strike group. A carrier and 4-5 escorts.

I wouldn't be surprised if the U.S. didn't hack into their launch codes.

Man, this is why I am really concerned for the people of North Korea.

The Fat Insane Dwarf has 150,000 Chinese on his western border and a US carrier group -- USS Carl Vinson and Strike Group 1 closing on his eastern shore.

Still, what does FID do? Try to fire a ballistic missile just in case this thing wasn't hot enough already.

I have a terrible awful sickening feeling that Jong-un will "suicide" millions via atomic bomb rather than see those bombs captured by the Chinese or Americans.

Sorry I just had to laugh! I know it's serious stuff going on, but just the way you wrote that makes it seem comical, like something out of Dumb and Dumber. Haha!
