Yeah DC is failing, yet still making money. Hopefully they've learned from their mistakes and the new films will be much better. I couldn't even finish BvS and have no desire to watch SQ. Which is sad cuz Batman is my favorite.

DC may be inferior compared to Marvel, but The Dark Knight is still the best comic book movie of all time. But that's Probably because of Christopher Nolan.

Yes, the order in which the story is told is vital. 1, 2 ,3 were written as prequels.

Makes better sense to begin with 1,2,3,Rogue One,4,5,6,7,8.

Remember that Luke and Rey don't have any dialogue at the end of The Force Awakens, Luke's statement that the Jedi must end could be his initial refusal to train her due to his PTSD over his nephew turning dark.

Thats the story arc.

1,2,3 the story of the Jedi and Anakin and Obi wan, and how Vader came in to existence.

Rogue One. how the Rebels got the plans to the death star.

4,5,6 the story of Luke and Vader

7,8

A new beginning.

8 as yet to be determined.

Sure they were release half assed.

But George Lucas timeline begins at 1 and ends at 8 so far.

I enjoyed the back stories. Hayden Christiansen was eye candy. I thought Anakin turning Sith was done well... probably because no speaking lines.
