The cylons were created by an alien race to whipe out humanity. That lasted for a thousand 'yarns'.

The Reboot was created from 8 years of the GW administration and 'terrorism'.

Since the industrial revolution man has been at the mercy of his technology.

Wouldnt it be easier to build something like a spider? So much effort goes into making robots with just two legs and getting them to balance while performing tasks.

But isnt it weird how the new version is prolly spot on? Oh but where is the tech gone too? Prolly shot off into the sun.
But but..what about the humans who lived on the planet? well the galacticans intermingled with them in disguise and eventually bred the newer version of humanity. Would also explain why there are some highly advanced structures for the time built back then.

Anyway the story could be factual to a point,but what parts i cannot say.
