No person who holds a public office may receive gifts and bribes from a a foreign state. This violates the constitution's emoluments clause. On top of that, Chicoms are a state hostile to the US and is an adversary. This does not look good for her.

So now we are charging people for this? Trumps son in law must be sweating bullets seeing how he forgot to to disclose his extensive relationship with a known Russian agent when he applied for security clearance. If they are going to apply the law to one person then apply it to everyone.

Jared Kushner has an unpaid position. He is an advisor to the president and does not handle state secrets. It's like comparing apples and oranges.

Of course this was going to come back around to Trump.

Surprised it took two pages.

This court document says there were more than one co-conspirators, but they are not named.

It actually names 3 co-conspirators. Although their names are redacted, there are descriptions of where these co-conspirators graduated, their expertise etc. They are referred in the court documents as co-conspirators A, B, and C.

Well, when the shoe is on the other foot.

I wonder if these people were "unmasked" and all of their associates?

If he does not handle State Secrets then why is he trying to get security clearance?

It's obvious.
She is spying for the Russians.

Buster, this thread is not about all the BS, and "wagons circling around the lies" that were leaked by Obama senior officials to the left-wing media for political reasons.

This is about actual evidence that at least a couple of Clinton officials were in cahoots with Chinese government spies.

Hope she works at a prison pig farm.

She shouldn't mind that at all, after having worked for Hillary.

They have her. The money transfers to her bank account are enough to convict. She will go to prison for this. She stupidly kept a journal of her actions, much like the idiots who video their crimes and post them on farcebook. She can hope for a plea deal and a 5-10 sentence at camp cupcake. State would like this to quietly go away so she does have a little room to maneuver.
What usually happens is that the foreign agents target a lower level person with access to important material so money can be used. This is why Hillary's Filipino housekeeper sorting through top secret fax messages was so susceptible. Foreign agents start small, with a dinner or lunch and then work their way in with bigger things. Soon, the target is trapped, caught between two worlds, and can only hope that a bigger fish will soon come along and they can extricate themselves. It never happens that way.

What should she have done when approached with the first innocuous gift? If she could refuse it without embarrassing State, refuse it. Done. If she had the option, she could have stalled and informed counter intel. This would let State feed information to Chinese intel while mapping their network. If counter already had people feeding the Chinese, they could have told her to refuse it and then posted her elsewhere to relieve the pressure. She would have been watched but clean. Now, she will lose it all.

Another reason I'm glad Clinton lost the election.

Lousy cyber security.

Letting spies work with her/for her.

And Trump haters say he's a threat to NATSEC.

Between this and her ties to Saudi Arabia? Clinton's foreign entanglements make Trump + Putin look like a vacation fling.

He's trying to get security clearance so he CAN get his hands on state secrets. The lack of clearance means he doesn't have such access. C'mon man, you're answering your own question.

The hypocrisy surrounding the Trump/Russia stuff is sickening. As the Sec. of State, Hillary approved a major uranium sale to the Russians, and by an astounding coincidence Bill Clinton was getting huge speaking fees from the Russians around that time. The Clintons accepted suspicious payments & "charitable donations" from various foreign entities throughout Hillary's tenure as SoS.

But when a (Republican) oil tycoon did business in Russia ten years ago, then OMFG it's treason! Get a rope and hang everybody even tangentially connected to him

No, she did not. Clinton was not on the board of officials that approved the Uranium one deal and the deal itself was not over the sale of uranium. It was a deal that was about the purchase of a stake in a Canadian company who made up about 20% of the US's uranium production capabilities.

This woman has been with the State Department since 1999..

Could she not also be described as a "Bush employee"...Or a "Trump employee" since she now works under his administration?

The State Department employs roughly 13,000 Foreign Service employees 11,000 Civil Service employees 45,000 Foreign Service local employees..

I find your headline of "Clinton Employee" spurious...

And we wonder why there's a deficit. The government employs more people to do nothing. I'm waiting for Trump to clean this up too.

She and her American co-conspirator did not start selling to the Chinese spies until 2011, two years after Hillary Clinton became Secretary of State. Not to mention the scandals surrounding the Clintons getting donations from the Chinese government while ex-President Bill Clinton was in office and the U.S. was losing "our secrets to the Chinese" like there was no tomorrow. Heck, the Clintons have continued to receive money from the Chinese government meanwhile Hillary Clinton has been negotiating with China on behalf of the U.S. government.

She did not sell out to the Chinese when Bush was President, but she did start 2 years after HIllary Clinton was made secretary of state and Clinton herself has been in scandal after scandal, alongside her husband, of receiving money from the Chinese government for "speeches" made by both which would favor the CCP (Chinese Communist Party), or as it's otherwise known the Chinese government.

Well, you better make a formal complaint to ATS then, because I tried to post this article with the original title "State Department Employee Arrested and Charged With Concealing Extensive Contacts With Foreign Agents". But every time I tried to post the thread the error message "your subject line is too long" kept telling me to shorten the title. Since this state department employee started getting paid by the Chinese government after Clinton was made secretary of state, and since the Clintons have been embroiled in their own scandals involving "getting money from the Chinese government" it made sense to shorten the beginning of the title with "Clinton Employee..."
