GD right dude!

And no one mentions the tax payer money funneled into making these bunkers for those who caused the catastrophe. Guaranteed that money is all OFF THE BOOKS!

Too many useless eaters in this world, and with the coming of the robots to do the work of humans? Do you really think they give a damn about us to keep us afloat?

Thank You!

This is what I had in mind on reading when I did my search.

Up until 2009, it was just America #ting on Iraq and Afghanistan, with limited drone strikes in Pakistan, Yemen and in Africa. On Bush's way out, and right before Obama stepped in, Georgia and Russia got into it.

That is spot on! I whole heartedly agree. The "war on terror" was kind of like the "war on drugs" as most of the other countries could not believe such a stance as "just say no." So until Russia or Germany got involved it is not a "world" war just a US thing.

I think that most people think there will be some battle field we can watch on pay-per-view between basketball games. That it is not a soccer team playing a match at a stadium or some concert goers in a theater. Or going to a night club. Or standing on a sidewalk when truck veers into you.

The scope of terms seems wrong to say, "WW3 is Russia vs. US vs. Iran vs. India vs. Pakistan vs. China vs. North Korea." That thinking is wrong. My bad for getting sucked back into that narrative.

I should have known that the answer was here on ATS!

People!! WW3 already started and started many many years ago.

Definition of World War - a war involving many large nations in all different parts of the world. The name is commonly given to the wars of 1914–18 and 1939–45, although only the second of these was truly global.

Is the war on terrorism not a World War?

My opinion is that you are wrong, we are not in a world war. A couple years after I got back from Vietnam I talked with my Dad who was in WW II. Among other things he landed in Normandy on Omaha beach. He fought in the entire war and when he told me about the horror of it I was grateful that Vietnam (and no disrespect to the vets of any shooting war) was no WW II.

My Dad has passed long ago but I remember his stories and trust me people we are not presently in a World War. When and if a World War begins we will not need a dictionary or google to figuare out if we are in it.

This is funny considering how many Trump supporters told me they were voting for him to avoid WW3.

It is all somekind of three d chess game... As a certified conspiracy nutt I am pretty much convinced that US presidents are selected by a group of very powerful people and fit with their personality, background and whatever it takes perfectly in the job discription and on going agenda.

Democrates or republican it really doesn't matter.. You will see that just like obama has continued the bush line, trump will continue the obama line. They say and promise the opposite but will do eventually pretty much the same in the end.

Just goes to show how the MSM has the ability to instill fear in the public!

Congratulation!

What can you or I do to stop it if it does happen?

Anybody who requires the MSM to be concerned with the destabilization of the planet right now, isn't keeping up.

HRC beat the war drums much harder on the campaign trail than Trump ever did, especially in relation to Russia.

Why do you assume things would be better under her rule?

And George bush ran as a compassionate conservative... lol

There is a long list of peace candidates who instantly went pro war after election..

That's what happens when "MAN" allows itself to be domesticated?

That statement alone sold thousands of crayons!

Honestly though? The biggest downfall to man, was to be conditioned to abandon our primal instincts! I don't care what anyone thinks. Those instincts, make us who we are......

Our three 'primal' instincts are to aquire food, shelter and sex.

Pretty sure we haven't deviated much from that.

Ps. Not sure how attacking our neighbor with clubs for their women, food and cave is anything different from what we do now, anyways.

We are conflicted beings, forever poised between the fallen angel and the rising ape (Thank you Terry Pratchet). If we do not deny those instincts to some point, we have no civilization. Then, we are only animals. Finding elaborate ways to mitigate and control those instincts is what makes culture. Finding the appropriate balance is what makes great civilizations rise.

There is no balance!

How can you say there is a balance when being masculine is a problem??

This is all political! People are worried about WW3? Hell, those Americans so comfortable in their political comfort zone should be more worried about a civil war! It's coming!

While I think that you have a point in how current, at least American culture, demonizes masculinity and also I agree that finding balance in that situation is impossible, but just saying: We have instincts and it is what we are and therefor they shouldn't be checked, doesn't work either.

Like I said, the trick is finding the balance between instincts for violence and dominance and well, instincts for cooperation. The Romans did it pretty well. A brutal culture by our standards, but a successful one. Cooperation is needed for stability, and so in violence, but it needs to be controlled violence.

On the individual level, few people get very far just dominating everyone through intimidation and violence. It causes mayhem and the cooperative aspect of society will eventually cause people to mitigate the chaos. Do remember, we have both qualified this as "primal" instincts, and you have further qualified that as masculine, which coupled with the context of the thread, I take to mean, dominance, violence (and maybe sex, but it's slightly out of context here). Even if a charismatic individual does manage (and it's harder than you might think) to get pretty far using only those "primal instincts", eventually, the cooperative many will shut them down. That's why tyrants (usually) get overthrown, for example.

The easy way. Google the You-tube video you want. You only need the part in bold below (the string to the right of the "=" sign).

[ yvid ] yzLT6_TQmq8 [ / yvid]

The square brackets are provided when you hit the "You Tube" button above when replying (where the font, bold, etc choices are). You get a warning, "You tube video?" and hit "OK". Paste the string you copied (in bold above), it mooshes it all together for you. And there you go! Inserted the video in a response.

Propellerheads feat. Shirley Bassey - History Repeating

Hope it was the right one!

If people have to Google it then no, WW3 has NOT started. When it happens- and eventually it WILL, though hopefully not in our lifetimes- everyone will absolutely know and there will be no hiding from the fact.

I disagree completely...

Look at all the close calls and mixed signals that have had us seconds from launching..

With no check and balance for world leaders and only a 7 min launch window...

I do agree that it is inevitable...

Every nuclear power, every new administration is a roll of the dice till we get another hitler..long term it is inevitable..

We should have taken the whole thing over in 1945 before there could ever be a second nuclear power.

Not even close. Lived through the Cold War-and Viet Nam. I don't care if we drop bombs but can't stand losing a generation of our young men-my nephew is over there now.

If they touch our soil, then it's all out nuclear war-WWIII. Could happen.

Lets hope Trump is listening to his children and controlling that Irish temper-please, cooler heads.

But, nah, don't really see WWIII unless they touch us here in the US; and believe me, they know it. Sometimes, I think that scary red hair hot tempered prez has got them thinking a little harder about touching us.

I am quite sure you don't know or perhaps those instincts were bred out of you in college?

But yea, you are naming the basics, and proving a prime example of how we as men have been domesticated!

When did I qualify anything as being masculine in todays world?

The only people I know who are masculine in todays world are men like me who are against the feminization of men by the PC left!
You are confusing power hungry human beings with masculinity! Certainly you do not think Hillary Clinton is masculine DO YOU?

Quite the opposite.

I want nothing more than food, sex and a nice home. Your argument does not hold weight.

Trump is finishing what the libs started. it isnt WW3. Their will never be a WW3 cause no country is strong enough to fight against the USA. The USA is virtually the only country in the world with an army worth mentioning. We can do anything and nobody can do anything about it. That is the power of Trump. We will invade afghanistan, syria, north korea and no one can touch us. If we wanted to wed take over Russia but then wed have to deal with all there lousy cheap cars.
