The Syrian military issued a statement recently stating there was an airstrike against an ISIS weapons depot possibly storing chemical weapons alluding that hundreds were killed. Obviously CJTFIR denies these allegations heavily.

The Russian Defense Ministry said it has sent drones to the site of an alleged chemical leak of a result of an alleged US-led coalition strike.

Syria says U.S. strike hit Islamic State poison gas depot, killed hundreds; U.S. denies

.@OIRSpox has seen the reports from SANA alleging @CJTFOIR strikes near Deir Ezzor Weds--not true! Intentional misinformation...again!

Russian army says not aware of people killed in Syria's Deir al-Zor Russian forces sent drones to check the area.

I think whats really strange here,is that nobody can seem to get the spelling right of that area. As a result, I have no idea what the correct spelling is! I will hold out for more evidence before I draw any conclusions on this matter. I am just putting it out there since it is breaking now.

I've seen this reported a couple of different places.

Don't worry about the spelling. There's no standard way to translate Arabic names into the western alphabet, so you frequently see several variants of the same name.

Possibly, the shoe is on the other foot now. Syria claims that they hit a rebel depot that turned out to be full of chemical weapons. This time, it appears that it was the US hitting an ISIS target, that turned out to be full of chemical weapons.

But don't worry, no civilians died. By definition, anybody killed in a US airstrike is an enemy combatant, be they a healthy military-aged man or a six-month old baby

Actually, that's a different mistake.
The USAF has been a bit off its game lately.

Collateral damage IS known to happen when destroying chemical weapons. Oh well.

Tabqa is just South and west of Raqqa city. Der Ezzoir is South, Southeast. It was two different incidences. I left the SDF friendly fire incident alone because, man there is just way too much to cover now. At least more people are becoming aware of everything and researching outside sources finally.
