Usually "unit." Because it is one box to do one task very well. So you have a "reverb unit" and a "delay unit" that combine together to give you real
spaced out sounds.
And heck yeah I like this!! The first looper artist I really remember gaining any popularity was KT Tunstall. Her song,
Black Horse and a Cherry
Tree can be performed completely by herself! It is a thing of beauty watch her construct the song. She starts with the vocal harmony, "woo who,"
doubles, then triples it. Adds in a "chunka-chunka" string muted rhythm then the real chords when she starts singing the song. During the song she
taps a tambourine with her foot and adds that in. By the end it sounds like a whole band!
Best I've managed is the rhythm and lead to Just Like Heaven, so somebody that can do this... my hat goes off to!
