The second part of the title is key. If the western world is gonna fall for the same dog and pony tricks ( false flags ) at least Putin is gonna try to expose the dangerous charade. But will this fall on deaf ears when it comes to the discernment of the American public?

"We have reports from multiple sources that false flags like this one – and I cannot call it otherwise – are being prepared in other parts of Syria, including the southern suburbs of Damascus. They plan to plant some chemical there and accuse the Syrian government of an attack.” - Vladimir Putin, 4/11/17
At this point anyone who knows anything about U.S. foreign policy has to realize that these words are true. Elements of the U.S. government have worked overtime in attempts to paint Putin as one of the world's most evil, corrupt, untrustworthy leaders in the world.
Do we see why such propaganda would come in handy?

Why do we need Putin to tell us? There is proof that it was a false flag right on the internet in the form of leaked documents and e-mails. ATS members SUCK at conspiracies nowadays.
You want proof? Just ask...
OR
Do your own research.
Stop listening to the media, especially during times like this.
Commenting on last week’s chemical attack that killed scores and injured hundreds in northern Syria, Russian President Vladimir Putin said today that Russia is “preparing to officially refer the situation to the relevant United Nations body in the Hague and call on the international community to carefully investigate this occurrence.”Text

I think Putin is 100% right. This whole thing smells false flag. The industrial military complex is crazy powerful and Trump most likely is overrun and soon in their pocket.
