We may not know what took place during the meeting between Trump and Xi but this move from China tells us a lot for the upcoming weeks.

After sending their special envoy to South Korea China is now deploying 150 000 troops to the North Korean border.

China 'deploys 150,000 troops to deal with possible North Korean refugees over fears Trump may strike Kim Jong-un following missile attack on Syria Read more: www.dailymail.co.uk... Follow us: @MailOnline on Twitter | DailyMail on Facebook

Again not sending the troops to North Korea but to secure their own border in case of a flux of North Korean refugees if Trump was to hit NK.

150k soldiers is a hell of a huge deployment. I am pretty sure they know it is coming and it was talked about during their meeting. China not sending the troops directly in NK and not being so vocal against Trump is a sign I think that they finally agreed to deal with NK by letting US do the dirty work and perhaps have a say in what is to come of the buffer zone between China And South Korea.

I think there is indeed a lot of possibilities, but coming from a country we thought would protect NK, to have 150k soldiers protecting the border to prevent them from coming in is a strong message they are sending both to the US and to kim the clown.

And with the carl Vinson Aircraft carrier, and its companion missile equipped destroyers on their way there, I guess Don is ready to deal with Kim, and Xi Jinping is ready to protect his border, and allow Don to spank Kims fat little ass

Kim must be #ting his pants right about now. The end is near for them and now is just a question if China will take control of the territory or if it will be annexed to South Korea. I do not think a regime change will work, North Korea will cease to exist as a country very soon.

It depends if the 150,000 Chinese troops have armour and artillery units present.
If it's soldiers and medical units then it would be a humanitarian thing.
But if it's tanks, apc's and self propelled artillery it would mean something else.

Right, Trump cozy with Putin and now trusting the communist Chinese. What could possibly go wrong?

NK issued a statement saying they are ready for war, regardless of the type of war the US wants to have they will retaliate with the ''toughest counteractions''

I am certain that NK is quite aware of the 150, 000 Chinese troops in its border.

I am also quite certain that Kim is politically savvy enough to know that the tide is turning against him, and that his grip on the leadership of NK could be slipping.

But what is in no way certain is what his reaction will be.

If he were rational and concerned for the people of NK, he might consider giving up his nuclear and ballistic missle ambitions in exchange for being allowed to continue as leader.

But that would be an enormous loss of personal face for NK, and for Kim personally.

And Kim rules from a cult of personality.

He might sooner die than "lose face".

Or, he might just figure that both he and his country (one in the same in his mind) would rather go out in a "blaze of glory" by taking as many in North, and South Korea out with him.

If Trump moves against NK, even with just the tacit approval of China, Kim is likely to strike the South with the ferocity of a man condemned.

Because he is.

And what will the orders to those 150,000 Chinese troops be then?

Im pretty sure that he will rather go in a great blaze of fury like you ve mentionned by going all out. Although he is a coward and a coward will rather lose face than lose his life.

China would not put 150 000 soldiers in harms way for nk. As mentionned previously by other members, China is probably going to storm in once the US blows every infrastructure of NK

China is long fed up with NK. They even stopped buying the coal from Nk theyre biggest coal supplyer to buy from USA instead.

I'm sure Kim will ultimately be killed by one of his own cadre.

But that won't be until after a massive strike against the South and a horrific loss of life in both North and South.

My thoughts exactly. it is very possible he is merely positioning them for an immediate deployment to "our trusted ally North Korea" in the event they do strike, but as a means of dissuading a ground campaign by the South, Thailand, Philippines, Australia and USA. Australia and Canada pretty much always commit to our ground ops in some way.

Its the Queens way of saying "hey don't look at me, were not involved."

Im going to search for vids and photos, see what we can find.

Multiple insights from multiple sources, a couple of interviews with Chinese citizens on the matter, parading of equipment by NK and some other stuff.
