First off, what makes you think thats the only options for him?

2nd Who exactly is going to frown upon it? Most of the world is tired of habit of bombing other nations and sending in our troops to die for money and to depose world leaders......

The US would lose a war against Russia, Iran and Syria in the ME. They couldn't beat Vietnam, N Korea.

The US hasn't won a war since Granada, and Panama, two little piqsquak countries. America is too greedy, fat, lazy, and Russia would beat them in the ME.

I think (as the article points out) the big problem is gas pipelines to Europe.

However, I disagree partly about Russia backing the Iranian pipeline.

I think Russia's best interests are best served if no pipeline get into Europe.

Russia currently enjoys their "monopoly" on gas sales to Europe.

But they might be happy with Iran partnerships as well as with Qatar.

Thats the problem Willtell there was a golden opportunity to set up a coalition with Russia and China and attend to the real problems of the world ,but no, nothing less than total world domination will suffice for the US even if they blow the world up in the process.The US was once a shining light to the world its potential was unlimited God only knows what happened
