Really? Nostradamus didn't even know him!

Brilliant observation Mr. Sherlock.

In a word: no.

Nostradamus was not a prophet. He was just a wise man with a flare for the dramatic and a charming and compelling manner. Per his own words he intentionally scrambled the quatrains to prevent anyone from knowing what they meant. Personally I believe they meant nothing to begin with. For anyone to say they understand them or figured them out is wishful thinking at best.

I consider him a precursor to today's palm readers. Start with grossly vague information and slowly get more precise based on reactions from the subject.

My favorite quote on this subject is: "I have been told that in a former life I was everything from a guard at the gates of Atlantis to King Tut. But mot once did any of these psychics ever tell me I was a vice cop about to bust them for fraud."

i used to think much the same way as you. Not anymore, though.

You know how intricate codes work, yes?

They look like gibberish, meaningless, and vague.

So people think it IS gibberish, which is how a great code works.

A few people attempt to decode it.

If one part of it seems to be decoded, and another part appears to be decoded, very differently, it doesn't mean the code is gibberish, since both of the interpretations seem to work just as well..

A code is only interpreted one way, through every part of it. Nothing else works, ever.

What you need to understand is that the quatrains are all written as intricate, interlaced groups of 4 quatrains, together match to one single event. Codes only work one way. Nothing else works.
