Really? Because even the GOP says there's no evidence. Meanwhile, Trump and his associates having ties with Russia continues to mount.

Are you a die hard MAGA fan? If so, I can understand your perspective.

Hm. Start WWIII. Yeah, that ought to do it!

You know all this talk about WW3 makes no sense to me. It's like you all want to see that happening only to prove you were right all along. It's pretty scary.

It won't be www3 but an expanded war in the mid east with plenty of young Americans coming home in plastic bags.
Let me ask you...who profits from such an engagement?

You don't find that scary?

Why would you worry about things that didn't even happened yet? How about just waiting how this is going to unfold before sounding the war drums. Whats with all the fear mongering all of a sudden. This is not the end of the world.

 What else don't you know?

I don't know how you aren't able to recognize sarcasm. The idea that I am a die hard maga fan is just so absurd that I had no other way to respond to that nonsense.

Sarcasm isn't always obvious in text form.

Saying that there's more evidence Obama spied on Trump than there is evidence of Trump's collusion with Russia does indeed paint one as a die hard MAGA fan, or someone who is ignorant to the facts.

Take your pick.

How about neither and just be a rational human being that can recognize the fallacy in the premise of the OP? You really wanna go down this route?

Shock and Awe....ring a bell?

Do you remember what happened the last time we bombed and invaded another country that didn't attack us. It's not fear mongering when you take past experiences into account. You must be a youngster...

I think both the Obama spy theory and the Trump Russia collusion theory are both fake, just like the Obama birther theory. They are all fake conspiracy theories.

The news is very short on facts and long on opinion.

I can't say one way or another without more facts.

Where will the facts come from? Who can we trust to give us the "facts"?

The real scary thing is tha Liberals want President Trump to fail so badly they would enjoy seeing a war and its body bags. Shame on them

Nothing could be further from the truth. Besides, it doesn't matter what people want and enjoy or not want and enjoy. If you believe your comment you've somehow hypnotized yourself with useless and absurd codswallop.

(See Les, I can say it too. ; )

I don't know if being 35 years old counts still as young but thanks for the compliment i guess. Always expecting the worst possible outcome isn't healthy that's all what i'm trying to say. We just don't have all the facts to know what's really going on. There is also the fact that the majority of the world population doesn't even care anymore. Sure they will tweet a #prayforsyria but that's about it. Hundreds of children die every day in africa and nobody cares but as soon Trump does anything then it's a huge f#cking problem. Please spare me the fake outrage.

The thing is.... I don't really believe that was ALL the motivation. Maybe as a second thought. I mean, he's raised five children, and had many associates and people who speak well of him. He can't be that terrible, can he?

I don't actually think he'd go that far just because he's up to his ass in alligators. As they say..

Hold your horses please. Assad is not a good guy not by a long shot. He did a lot of horrible crap mostly to children and teenagers. His secret police is not an imagination. I don't even like him and i want him gone as soon as possible but sometimes you need to make deal with the devil. Just look at fat Kimmy in NK. His people are starving to death or die in labour camps and he is still in power. I hate dictators but removing them is not an easy task.

No. I don't think it is a Wag the Dog scenario.

I believe it is what the President says. During his campaign he proved to me that he will say what he thinks no matter who likes it. I have no reason to believe differently now.

One of the reasons I supported President Trump was he is not in favor of war. He spoke against going to war, and he wants to get along with anyone that wants to get along with him. Now wars are an awful thing, and with that said what better reason to go to war is there than to protect innocent civilians, who have no say in what happens. Is Oil a better reason, or because they might harbor weapons of mass destruction a better reason? To protect the weak and defenseless, is the most noble reason IMO.

So although I dislike the fact that there is war, I do understand the reasoning for going to war. He let Assad know that he will actually draw, not a, but THE line.

As far as Russia, I think it is safe to say that this has put to rest any idea that the President is going to do what Russia wants him to do.

I still support Trump, he hasn't let me down yet, although the healthcare bill he wanted passed came close. But that is another thread.

The US wants to get involved in Syria to monopolize its oil assets, while simultaneously beating our competition – Iran, Russia and China – in the race for Syrian black gold.
It’s easy to see why the oil-dominated US government wants to be involved in Syria’s outcome.

Unfortunately we have no say in that regard and there are no guarantess. I still think it's best to let the people decide and hold a fair election but that rarely happens. I do hate scumbags who attack their own citizens to keep them in line though. I don't know the world is just messed up.

Just like Kuwait? Just like Iraq? Just like Libya?

I don't think a tap on an airbase is going to accomplish that.
