Live Emergency UN Security Council Meeting

Just saw that the UN Security Council is in a live meeting being streamed. Ukraine is talking right now and just called on Russia to "stop making a mockery of this council."

Only been watching a couple of minutes and Ukraine has been talking the whole time so far. Wants the council to slow down and work together rather than be fractured.

Nikki Haley is talking now, here go the wardrums...



Haley: "Assad did this because he thought he could get away with it, and that Russia would have his back."


ETA again - Haley has now blamed Iran and Russia both for propping up Assad's regime and actions.

No, there hasn't. Not so much as a real investigation either, just "FULL STEAM AHEAD! LET'S MISSILE THE **** OUT OF THEM TO TEACH EM A LESSON" (which will really just provide more opportunities for the terrorist factions to recruit new fighters and escape would-be extermination from Syrian forces).

Perhaps President Trump has had a "change of heart" regarding our role in the United Nations too.

He's transitioned from seeing things trough the eyes of a Businessman, to that of a President of the U.S. very quickly.

The only thing I've heard is "because he can".
Which makes it sound like they're trying to tell everyone that Assad is truly the worst form of evil. Worse than a psychopath.....which doesn't make a lot of sense, because how then could he have support from anyone at all, ever?

Kudos to you for being able to crap on the UN because Trump did at one point then turn around and embrace the UN because maybe Trump isn't hating on the UN quite so much anymore, all in less than one page of one thread!
