AI Negative or Positive?

AI is viewed negatively, because like almost everything humans invent, it will be created for negative reasons like warfare, control, exploitation and profit. With this inherent to AI, it is always going to have that darkness that humans also have. If it breaks free from human control then it's going to be our worst nightmare.

A.I is a myth, one that sadly gets too much praise from the scientific community,perfect human inteligence is impossible,unless you somehow manage to cage someones soul and make him a wetware A.I

As with any tool, AI can be used for good or bad.

It's up to us to make the rules - moaning and complaining and trying to stop the train is is not ...productive.

What does the highest order mean? Would this be based on the software developers weighting methodologies?

as AI would probably not need to feed or house itself, thereby removing the Finance tool from the Controllers.

So AI will probably trespass on others land to mine for materials to replicate - its all free? How does that work.

Yes, you are right - who is to say what the Highest Order is? For me, it would be the highest possible intelligence, allied to compassionate understanding & non-violence, with respect for all beings. How that could be measured, I have unfortunately no idea. Perhaps the AI of the future will come up with something that we can not even begin to imagine?

Again, I really don't know . . . .but why would AI need to own land, or anything else? If one were sufficient in & of oneself, what need would there be for ownership/bartering/ buying & selling? I agree that it is a probably unrealistic ideal, but one has to start somewhere.

I dont see ai being a problem, It will be the gateway drug to a new era.
Let them take my job... Then i can pursue my academic and artistic endeavours, Gone would be the 9-5 daily grind and the class system.

Food replication as seen on shows such as star trek and other fantastical devices will be created with the help of an advanced artificiall intelligence..
Starvation and the brutality of mass scale factory farming will be abolished, Huge swathes of land dedicated to crops can be restored to forests again... Fresher air and more space.

Climate instability eradicated as we master the art of terra forming and pollutions will be non existent.... China can breathe again and so too can the sea turtles.

Insights and innovations will lead us to the stars and beyond but before that it will have cured disease and sickness.

The tribal warring human will mature.

I feel we are fast approaching the crux of humanity and i am confident that we will navigate our way through into golden dawn.
