two UFO encounters.

the first one is interesting, the second one is crazy.. so first i was in Florida around the orange city area, it was along time ago, i was 18 years old so i guess that was almost 20 years ago.

1. some friends and i were in a restaurant drive threw and it was night time, next thing we know there was this super loud rumble sounded like something flying over us, it got louder and louder, when it passed over us all the electricity went out and the cars in the drive threw all turned off, the cars started again so im guessing it was not some sort of EMP. we never saw anything just hear this thing fly over, it was very loud, we just figured it was some sort of low flying plane or what ever till the electricity and cars shut off.

2. now this is the crazy one. it was in the Akron ohio area and i was at a bonfire on a farm i was probably 19 or 20 when i saw this one and it was my last ufo sighting, i have not see any since this one... this girl and i walked out into the field to go see the horses that were way out on the farm. we see a bright white glowing orb flying in the sky. we both stopped and looked at it. neither of us spoke or moved, it flew in closer to us till it must have been pretty close and somewhat low to the ground and it just stopped and hung in the air, it was dead silent, no sound at all. we just stood there watching it. next thing you know it kind of opened up, not sure how to describe it but it was still a while orb but now had i think 3 lights on it each one was a different color and the lights started to spin around the orb in different directions.. we both stood perfectly still and just stared at this thing, finally it turns into a pure while ball of light again and it zoomed off and disappeared.

there was no fear and a peaceful feeling and its almost like we were frozen, normally i think i would have ran away in fear seeing something like that which also makes this strange. neither of us spoke or looked away till after it left. we walked back to the people at the fire and asked how long we had been gone, they said probably 10 or 15 min and we told them what we saw.. they did not see it and though were were making it up.

i dont know if it was aliens, some crazy government craft just wondering if anyone has see anything similar.

I've never seen or witnessed anything like that here in New Jersey. In our skies, which have a thick blanket of pollution, all we can see every night are several airplanes and jets flying around. Every night from dark to about 2 am you can see 4 or 5 airplane lights flying about. So if UFOs ever wanted to remain hidden from our view all they would have to do to be stealthy is have a pattern of lights that looks like airplane. You would think any extraterrestrial race with million years of military technology research would probably have some pretty amazing stealth technologies. If the extraterrestrials are among us, they are probably cloaked.

If you assume extraterrestrials have light bending technology, maybe there would be a way with lenses and light to somehow detect them. But then again, extraterrestrials would be so advanced they could create space ships that look exactly like small plans and jets in open light. My theory is extraterrestrials are here to study us the way scientists study ant hills in Africa. There's probably one or two extraterrestrial who love us like the way scientists love whatever they study.

Missing time? Maybe you and the group back at the fire were all hypnotized to think it was only 'ten or fifteen' minutes...

the us government has allot more technology that we know about. some of the strange stuff we see might even be government projects.. with all the planets out there in space i would imagine there is life on some of them. if they are more advanced than us, its hard to say but i am sure some of them are.

there is a air force base/air plane museum here in ohio and its not too terribly far from where i live in ohio, a few hour drive if i remember correctly. the Roswell craft is said to have been taken to this air force base where there is some kind of under ground hanger that is said to be full of alien technology and the government is working on making their own ships there and what not. if any of that is true it could have been something that came from there.

i dont know what is saw. i just know i saw it and it was pretty interesting. my friends uncle worked at this air force base and supposedly had top clearance and could go anywhere on the base. when we would ask him about it all he would say is you do not want to know what is down there and would never give us any information, he would not say if he had actually been in the pace where they are said to have alien stuff or anything he would just say you don't want to know....

i don't know if there was missing time or not but i don't think there was, at least as far as i know

we were at a bonfire and i don't think anyone was paying attention to the time, i dont know the exact time that we walked out into the field and i don't think we looked at the time we got back.

I was not able to see what was piloting the thing so there is no way of knowing if it was full of humans or aliens so there is not enough information to make a decision on weather it was man make or came from somewhere else. i can say i think it was extraterrestrial but i could definitely be wrong

as far as looks. check out a photo of a atom, well a drawing of one. you see a orb with a few rings around it, that is the closest way i can describe it. if the orb in the center of the drawing was just a solid white glowing orb of pure white light and the rings were colored lights that were really close to the orb spinning around it each rotating in a different direction. i remember there was a red and a blue light. i cant remember what color the 3rd one was, maybe two if them were the same color.

im sure that paints a better picture in your mind of what i saw

Interesting, the one thingy I saw was a blue light with red lights fore and aft.

No discernible shape, no outline, just a blue light, the prettiest blue I have ever seen.

it was some sort of flying object and i would say it was definitely made by someone or something and i have a feeling something was inside flying it. i really don't think it was any type of natural occurrence. but if you have other ideas of what it may have been lets here them..

i don't really follow this kind of stuff.. i come here and read stuff occasionally, mainly things about ghost or paranormal things but today i was thinking about what i saw and i decided to sign up and see if anyone had seen anything similar or had any ideas about what it might have been.

If you had any missing time which is frequently typical in your case of being isolated from others, I would suggest that you look at your views on life in the universe and our current civilization. People that have "time-loss" experiences (as I) frequently start revamping their whole perspective from a somewhat different, if less human, point of view sometimes into the extreme. My standing joke is that UFOnauts make abductees into democrats. I've been resisting mighty.

no missing time that i know of but we were not keepig track of the time either. i never wore a watch and did not have a cell phone at that time. it was a up close experience but it never flew directly over us. it was probably 200 + yard away and low enough to the ground to get a good look at. after it flew down it hovered and stayed in that exact spot till it left.

Think back to the bonfire. Think about the smell of the smoke, the conversations happening around the fire, what the air felt like. Bring to mind everything you can recall about that scene. Let the scene play out over time up to the point where you and the girl decided to go see the horses. Was that unusual? Did you feel compelled? Did you see the horses and decide to go check them out? Let the story play out some more. You walked over to the horses, remember the way they smelled, remember the feel of the fence that kept the horses in, remember the whole scene then let it play out moment by moment to the UFO. Did you become hypnotic when you stared at the light or did your stream of consciousness continue with each moment?

wanting to go see the animals or walking around at night in a sort of spooky unfamiliar place that was out in the middle of nowhere is the kind of thing i would have normally done so there is nothing out of place as far as that goes. nothing was out of the ordinary till we saw it. when we saw it we were standing in a a open field that was probably about a 2 or 3 minute walk away from where the fire was, we only got about half way to where the animals were when it showed up.

what i remember is we saw it was farther away and i pointed and said look at that and we watching it for a min or os and were talking about what it was, when it came down closer to us and started hover in one spot we both just stopped and stared at it and i am pretty sure we stopped talking. it was a strange feeling, i am not sure if it was a hypnotic feeling or maybe just disbelief and amazement at what we were seeing. but im pretty sure we stopped talking and we both stool perfectly still till it left. i still wonder why i just stood there instead of running away cus im pretty sure my reaction to seeing something i though was a alien ship coming that close would probably try to run and hide from it. if i play out that senerio in my mind that is what i think would do

but i remember the feeling well, it was not scary at all and kind of a mesmerizing peaceful feeling. i remembering being conscious and thinking to my self what the hell is this, this thing is amazing, holy crap i cant believe i am seeing this. those were the kind of thoughts going thew my mind. when it decided to fly off we started taking about it and wonder if the people setting around the fire saw it. we watched fly off it till it disappeared than we turned around and went back to the others. we were thinking it may not be a great idea to continue out into the field any farther with that thing out there.

that is how i remember it.

No way to be certain but from what you say it sounds like a clean experience. I was worried your experience might be what is called a screen memory but it seems to be the actual one which is good. You went to the location on your own which is also good. In other cases people get switched off and unconsciously walk over to where their abductors want them to go.

i think it was a clean experience, pretty sure it was... hopefully it was, i have not seen anything like it since.

i was thinking about it some more and trying to remember all the info like you were saying. After it flew down closer to us we did speak to each other but only a few words. we were wondering it knew we were there and if it were able to see us.

imagine seeing this thing fly down out of the sky. that is about the best photo i can find to describe what it looked like.
and after it stopped those lights that started spinning around it.. just image 3 small colored lights moving in different directions around it.

the fist picture is basically what it looked like, a bright white perfectly round light bulb flying thew the air

photo 2 is a idea of what it was like once it stopped moving and hovered. the lights came out and orbited around kind of like how it is in that photo it but they stayed very close to the sphere i think there were only 3 lights in total orbiting around it that were red and blue. imagine if the rings in this photo were on the fist photo, that is basically what it would have looked like once it stopped to hover and the lights came out..

the lights stopped spinning around it right before it flew off into the distance..
