The hacking was not an illusion in my view. Trump is tied by many threads to very bad people in Russia and elsewhere. Oligarchy monster types. He is not an innocent. But believe as you will. We may never k ow the truth. And if it comes out, we may still wrangle over it.

If proof came out that Trump was corrupt and had coordinating at a very high level with Russia to get a "win" then what would you say?

Permanent Government or no, all I see from Trump are lies.

Where's his evidence? Didn't say he was going to provide proof? Where's Nunes? He clearly accused the previous administration of spying on him so where's his direct evidence? Why does he need to investigate something he already claimed as fact? He has nothing. He read this on Fox news, Breitbart whatever and decided to run with it. Now he, his administration and supporters are running around like headless chickens trying to use anything as an excuse. He has nothing so there's nothing to investigate.

So....he can't release the evidence himself because it is likely under a TS clearance level. He has showed it to all sides now and I can definitely say that Schiff is not looking too happy, while Nunes seems confident.

Every news agency in the world can spin whatever story they want. I would hedge my bet on Trump being right any day at this point.

How will we know? If Trump either gets heads to roll, or if the DNC completely drops it all. If he is not right, then we will see his head roll. It is that simple.

I am willing to wait and see, but I don't believe a sitting POTUS would say something so inflammatory without having actual proof. He is likely trying to figure out a way to release it to the public, but is being stonewalled by everyone because of clearance for the actual files.

You don't typically see someone doubling down, especially in such a public position and with so much power, unless they can prove it.

It's just a waiting game really....we can all post as many ridiculous stories as we want about Trump, but nothing has stuck yet....

Here's the way I'm personally reading it at the moment. I believe that they have more evidence than we know and they want to handle this properly as it's delicate in some significant ways. They don't want to reveal some of the classified stuff because there are things there that are legitimate national security concerns.

I believe much will be unclassified and revealed as the process moves forward. Of course we shouldn't take his word whole without looking at everything we can before making guesses here on ATS, but with the evidentiary items that are starting to build along with Trump's tweets as well as his uncanny ability to score wins over the deep state and their MSM propagandists, I'm leaning towards him being right on this.
