8 episodes of epic interdimensional monster hunting with an incredible intense Winona Ryder. A Netflix Original set in the 80's and it's almost perfection. The mood, the cast, the story: it's just brilliant.

If you haven't watched yet, you should, season 2 is in the making.
Enjoy, happy weekend

Oh yeah, all the family got instantly hooked.

You should see Millie Bobby Brown's performance in Intruders, a short lived series. My daughter and I first saw here in that, and she was amazing. We couldn't believe such a young actress could deliver as she did.

We sure will watch season 2 as soon as it is out.

Loved Stranger Things, watched it twice.
Season 2 is due out this Halloween.

Need something to hold you over until Halloween?
Try 'The OA'.

Or 'Utopia'

I started watching the series and before I knew what had happened, I binged watched the whole thing. I was visiting family out of State and I had to restart the thing three times because folk kept coming in asking, "what are you watching?". After a couple minutes of watching, they demanded we go back to the beginning. So we locked the door and put up a sign saying, "Get your own room".

I really did enjoy it, but I have doubts about where they plan to go with it.

OA was OT (Out There), but it was another one that I really enjoyed and ended up binge watching.

It kept me going until I could figure out what was going on, then it kept me going, trying to figure out where it was going.

Will have to try Utopia. Don't think I did that one yet.

I got the fam hooked on it and the OA. Fire station guys too.
I need something new so I'll check out Utopia. I liked 3% (subtitle though), Ascention was great too, but it's left open ended for a new season that won't ever happen.

It's nice to see how much love it gets!
I just started Sense8, but... not as good I can already tell.

Isn't this a "heavily influenced" IT ?

If Star Wars is not the same as Star Trek because they both take place in space, then I would say no. Just because the premise is similar with the dimension and the missing kid, together they open up a new genre, I would say?

I haven't seen it, but I've heard it was 'heavily influenced' if not slightly replicated
