An asteroid strike doesn't make the stars move out of position. Only the earth being spun about can do that. And that takes far far more mass than an asteroid.

Did you know the Earthquake in Japan actually changed the tilt of the earths axis? That also changed the 'apparent' position of the stars, ever so slightly. I'd take time to link it, mindsmadeup you won't read it anyway.

...as far as another sun or two suns lighting the sky, remember the Russian meteor? It was so bright it looked like another sun, trailed sparks, white light, etc, etc.Nuclear testing the atmosphere 'looks like' suns too...

Well, thanks for trying to smack me upside the head with a relative and albeit insignificant truth. But wouldn't you agree in the realm of logic problems that they were talking about an "obvious" moving of the stars that you don't have to point out by saying "see see,, look here. That star moved .00000065 degrees!! Can't you see it!" vs "Holy Crap! Holy Crap! Huston, we got serious problems. Orion's belt moved from mid sky to the horizon". As I said earlier, a logic problem.

As far as the light in the sky we are talking about something that stays lit for a bit not momentarily like an asteroid. There again a logic problem. Something like "Oh look, it's and asteroid streaking through the sky" vs "Why is the sun shinning, it's 3am!? Oh my god! Everybody get your stuff. We are heading to Grandma's cabin.

Not meaning to be insulting. Honestly. It's just relatively speaking an asteroid does not move the constellations in a way that nobody can miss nor would it appear to be a second sun to any reasonable mind.

Come down to earth son, every prophecy isn't a world ending cataclysm. Unless you consider the Japan Earthquake cataclysm so severe it changes the earths orbit... which it did.

There are oral and written histories around the world of a great flood. I believe that there was travel among all continents before a great disaster. One so big it reset technology and put man back at the starting point. I think Pyramids were built not because they were cool to look at but the shape alone kept them from toppling to the ground. Being as there are pyramids in China, The Americas, Africa, etc I think it was probably a universal concern.

I think Atlantis did actually exist and that from one moment to the next even continents can go under the sea. Look at mountain ranges that show the layers of compacted sediment projected up into the sky. Happens slowly over hundreds of thousands of years? With earthquakes and erosion you don't think they would erode as quick as they come up? Just maybe they can come up in a day.

Every now and then massive changes happen. Why? I only have stories passed down. I have prophetic visions of people I can gather together. I have prophetic NDEs. Not that people are not full of # these days but I believe some are telling the truth as they know it. And I would not give one rats about any of it except I experienced "perfect" prophecy. Perfect. It's like the "huge" triangular UFO that hovered over me in the middle of the day when I was a child in the 70's. Trust me, we don't have anything like what this thing was. How can I deny it? How? You didn't witness it. I did and I'm honest.

Mars.... Red planet? With a very big scar across the face of it. A debris field know as the asteroid belt between here and Mars. Tell me with a straight face that you don't think Mars was once a living planet that very likely died in an interplanetary hit and run.

The red dust on the planet more than grabs my attention. In many prophecies I've read about a red colored sky and darkness. In the Kolbrin Bible (I agree, the Kolbrin could be made up. But, so could the New and Old Testament. Con men have been around for a very long time) it talks about this dust.

Before I knew about the Kolbrin Bible I had extremely lucid dreams that did not feel like dreams that I feel where prophetic (based on past similar dreams that came true. It was the feeling of them) in which I knew "great winds" would destroy the world as we know it. I saw what looked like a great storm stretching out into the heavens (brown dwarf's tail? I dunno...).

Oh, and do you trust your scientists without some small suspicion? The Internet, Print, and TV scientists. Those folks are the honest gospel and without error? Puuuhhhhhllllleeeaaasseee....

I have no idea why threads which are posted with sincerity need to be attacked into non existence. And how funny is it that prophecy speaks of man being so judgmental and cruel in his last days as anybody with common sense can see is rapidly becoming the state of nearly all men. Which plays so much in him being judged.

Why does it have to be that the spirit of prophecy must be killed by science. A science that has proven time and again to be naive and insincere.

My one time prophecy had to do with ROTC kids. I had a dream that I remembered (at that time, 30 years ago) in exact detail, which was weird. I mean exact detail in walking, opening doors, what I said to people. I walked to the chow hall staring off into space trying to make sense of it. It was the feeling of the dream and the fact that I vividly remembered everything.

The start of my dream was opening the door to the shop I worked in. After eating breakfast at the chow hall I went to work. When I went to open the door it happened. People always try to project onto me that I experienced dejavu or something like that but it wasn't. When I opened that door a weird feeling swept over me and all of the sudden it was like I was a spectator of myself.

I walked the same steps exactly as the dream, opened the same doors, and came upon the same ROTC students in a dark room like the dream and said the exact same things. But it was like I was with somebody else doing all these things. I was just a spectator. Then where the dream ended I was once again me, in control of my body.

The dream occurred over an hour before the event and I remembered it vividly.

After it ended I was confused. Maybe a bit shaken. I had never experienced anything like it.

Now there. I've been honest and given you something to attack and riddle this thread with your great wisdom of derision.

I just wanted to thank you for posting this thread in the first place. We don't get many like this these days and I think part of that is because people who do have something interesting to post know that many who read it will tear it to pieces for being too fantastical or out of the box and make fun of it. No problem man. In these days it is hard to stand your ground. The state of man I think is cyclical just like I think the disaster is cyclical. Towards the end there is judgment, manipulation, lies upon lies, and just generally evil of all sorts. Man abandons faith. Not faith in religion. I am a fan of the "word" but not a fan of abstracting yourself from the responsibilities of the word via religion.

No, he abandons faith in love and truth. The state of man in the end. Few will surrender to love and truth and will seek to preserve themselves by any means. That is the bellwether. One mentioned in so many a prophecy.

Here is the type of thing I search for. I wish I had documented all that I had found in so many near death experiences. I keep seeing the same things. Incomprehensible upheaval of the land, massive tsunamis, millions dying in an instant. I have seen it so many times from so many places in prophecies, NDE, etc that I have to assume it has it's own truth. A mystical one perhaps but that does not make it a lie.

My father had died the previous year and I had been with him as he passed, I felt again how it was as he departed and told her that it would be like if one day, you looked up at the sky and you saw a bright bright light, but it wasn't the sun. It was like the sun but much brighter, and white and as soon as you saw it you stop being afraid. It was beautiful and when I saw the story of garabandal and others like it I am reminded of how I saw this vision and the understanding of it and the peace with which it brought to our lives.
