While I agree with your post 110%....

The "free" market is what has cause the sharp increase in premiums over the last 20 years.

Bull#. We have never had a 'free market healthcare system'. What has caused the sharp rise in premiums is the increased meddling and regulations by government.

That is just ONE of the taxes. Right now my healthcare is $200 a month which covers my entire family (wife, 3 kids) and that amounts to about $2400 a year.

Ummm... where do you get such ridiculously cheap insurance today? Seriously, I want to know, we currently have none, because the cost is well over $,000/month, with $8,000+ deductible (meaning we would never be able to use the insuracne).

OMG..take a look at this California Single-Payer plan that moved one step closer to reality today.

www.latimes.com...

The state is going to implement a "broad based" tax to fund this puppy. Aren't Californians already taxed at a rate that's higher than the national average?

January 2, 2020 From Bernie Sanders today:

Democratic 2020 candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders said Thursday that he won’t put a price tag on his government takeover of the health care system because the figure is “such a huge number.”

The Vermont senator again declined to say how much his Medicare-for-All plan would cost during an interview with The Washington Post on Thursday.

“I don’t give a number and I’ll tell you why — it’s such a huge number and it’s so complicated that if I gave a number, you and 50 other people would go through it and say, ‘Oh … ‘”
