All I can do is admonish you to check your teaching and teachers and compare them to God's word. where it is incorrectly applied you need to separate yourself from them.
1Ti 6:3 If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;
4 He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings,
5 Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.
6 ¶ But godliness with contentment is great gain.

Greetings Nameless
The Holy Spirit is a person, He is not a power like "the force be with you" from the Star Wars movies.
The Holy Spirit is part of the trinity of the Christian faith, Father, son and Holy Spirit and He gives spiritual gifts to those who are believers .
When Christians talk about being in the spirit, they are referring to their relationship with the Holy Spirit.
We are called to walk with the Holy Spirit in a relationship. He is known as our wise Councillor, friend, advocate,

1Cor 12:12 ¶ For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.
13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.
Ga 3:26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
This is Holy Spirit/Ghost Baptism, no water for twenty verses either direction.
I pray everyday as led by the Holy Spirit/Ghost. Where ever I am God's Holy Spirit/Ghost is with me.
No verse in the preserved word of God teaches one "is Baptized in the Holy Spirit" but they do teach we are baptized into Christ and into one body.
People who spake in tongues are never said to be baptized in the Holy Spirit. They are said to be given the gift as they were at the beginning but no one had to interpret.
What you described in the OP was an unknown tongues which needs interpretation and if none if given you are no to use it in the assembly of believers. Again read 1 Cor 14.
Also we are sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise which is not baptism and the God has given us his Holy Spirit which is not baptism. These verses speak of his presence in us.
I don't know where you are getting your teaching from but it is not from the preserved word of God but a created doctrine of men.

The context is to the twelve Apostles not believers today and it happened to 16 the original 11 plus Matthias and the four brothers of Jesus it was a sign to the Jews. They were baptized with the Holy Ghost and filled giving the gift of tongues. But today we don't need it because we have a completed word of God, and Paul teaches us we are baptized into Christ by the Holy Ghost. Remember in John we are told that they received the Holy Ghost already before what took place in Acts 2.
Peter also when all these men asked what was going on told them to be baptized in water and repent. Both Baptism in water and repentance are not required any more. I was only required under the gosdpel of the Kingdom which is not active today.
Today we are under the gospel of the Grace of God, and under it we do not need to have people baptized with the Holy Ghost in order to receive the gifts or exercise them. They are given when we believe and we exercise them only as God wills us to.
The gifts when and how are to be kept in context. Also you must understand that the instructions of 1 Corinthians 14 shows that unknown tongues are not to be spoken unless there is an interpretation. The tongues in Acts 2 did not need interpretation as each heard in their own language the wondrous works of God.
read the gifts in Romans 12, 1 Corinthians 12-14 and Ephesians 4:11, 12 for a better understanding.
Also note and search out these three Gospels (just paste them into any Bible program) 1) the gospel of the Kingdom, the Gospel of the grace of God, and the Everlasting Gospel. As you study see what is added to each one as a requirements for salvation under each one.

I have an Oath to myself to only type The Verses of the Bible, Guided by holy spirit, to express myself.
John 13:34-34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
By this shall all [men] know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
John 15:12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
Rom 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
It is a miracle to think Paul never expounded on Jesus teachings but was a liar and taught nothing that Jesus taught. False reports about Paul abound from many people here at ATS, but if you seek you shall find that Paul does teach what Jesus taught on many subject Jesus never went into details about.
Rom 12:10 Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;
Rom 13:8, 9 Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.
For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

Doe snot mean it was Saul of Tarsus.
Rom 3:7, 8 For if the truth of God hath more abounded through my lie unto his glory; why yet am I also judged as a sinner? And not rather, (as we be slanderously reported, and as some affirm that we say,) Let us do evil, that good may come? whose damnation is just.

Music is a powerful medium to minister the gospel,...
A nice rhythmic beat is also commonly used in other propaganda/brainwashing techniques, commercials/ads, for instance.
It enhances the insertion of malware.
The only 'gospel' to 'minister' (according to Jesus) is to be unconditional Love!
Jesus's message wasn't about vain 'beliefs', it is about a state of being, unconditional Love/Enlightenment.
One needn't go pushing 'beliefs' like drugs (that isn't what Jesus sold); shining the Light of Love, people will come to you!
True, unconditional Love is ALWAYS Known by It's unconditional Virtues; Compassion, Empathy, Sympathy, Gratitude, Humility, Charity (charity is never taking more than your share of anything, ever!), Honesty, Happiness, Faith...
ALWAYS!

Sorry mist type
But I'll take the preserved word over unverifiable copies of scrolls. You see people reported Paul was lying so he questioned why would the gospel prosper through his lie. Seems these scroll writers were lying slanderers.
