Looks fantastic! I haven't been excited for a new movie in a long time. I am liking this franchise so far.

Can't Effin wait!
Every Christmas Eve, we have a few family friends over and watch the entire original Apes series. I absolutely love the classics.
I can pretty much recite the entire originals word for word, but it's a tradition nonetheless.

Oh and on thanksgiving we do the same thing but with all the originals Rocky movies.

I am liking the direction the reboot is taking. I hope we get at least a few more movies out of the series.

Yes I watch the series in a marathon at least once a year! (Excluding Tim Burton's version of course.)

Love Ricardo Montalban's contribution.

Hahah I'm the same way. in fact I don't even count Tim Burtons version as an apes movie...not even a stand alone lol.
Watched it twice and will hopefully never again lol.

In my eyes, nothing compares to the originals. I absolutely love them. But as I mentioned, I am enjoying the reboot.

It's one of the few "reboot/ re-imagining" franchises I can tolerate. They've done a great job so far with keeping the core elements, updating it for modern audiences, not over-doing the gratuitous fan service, but still finding ways to tie it into the bigger picture.

That's how you do a reboot folks.

Andy Serkis brings such gut-wrenching empathy to his portrayal of Caesar, one can find it hard to identify with the humans in the stories.

His Golam in the Lord of the Rings trilogy, also very sympathetic, albeit my least favourite character.

Looking forward to the next instalment of POTA, may even shell out for a seat at the local flea-pit.

Love these movies. Too bad Koba died, I really liked his character, he brought a lot of depth to the films.
Will definitely be going to see this.
