If there is evidence which clearly shows collusion between large pharmaceutical companies and the cartels, then that information has to be investigated thoroughly, and criminal cases bought against the individuals and the companies involved.

Furthermore, if the individuals and companies are found guilty, then not just the individuals directly involved, but the owners and operators of the company must also have their company just simply taken away from them, they themselves must be banned from owning or operating any company for the rest of their lives, and fined at least half their net worth as individuals, as well as being jailed for a term whose minimum and maximum term would be decided by the judge, based on the level of involvement each owner and operator had with the crime, from a few months for simply owning a company found guilty of such collusion, to life in the event of deep involvement on the part of the owner or operator.

That would be the way I would deal with it. These may seem extreme measures by western standards, but I truly believe that corporate involvement with high level criminal enterprise, must result in the utter destruction of the peace of the guilty parties. Slaps on the wrist, fines that guilty parties can afford to pay a thousand times and still be financially secure... these do not work. Absolute root and branch destruction of a persons peace, financial security, the financial security of their families and dependents, these are punishments which not only fit the crime, but might actually prevent further interactions between cartels and big pharma.

Because I dont have a life I did the maths.

Lowest dose of Sudeafed is about 30mg of pseudoephedrine per tablet.

So if this is the lowest dose the 2,000,000 x 30 = 60,000,000 mg

That works out at 60,000g

Now 60,000g of pseudoephedrine in the Birch reaction that’s used the most can in theory make 60,000g of Methamphetamine.
But the yield in real life would likely be about 80%

So you would get 48,000g.

A gram of Methamphetamine is around £90.

So whoever this got sold too potentially made £4320000

If they where the highest dose of sudafed then its 60g per tablet so you can double my figures.

Or the person who brought this had a really bad cold :p

Jail the mall.

Anyone connected to producing synthetic drugs be it MJ or meth which are sold and used illegally should be jailed......producing synthetic MJ is equitable to producing Meth.....jail the mall.

These are crimes against HUMANITY...this is not money issue or a profit issue....these are crimes against all of humanity and must be treated as such...IMHO due to the connections to orgnised crime/Terrorism and their methods of genertig income to do their deeds...well simply put...meth and synthetic drug production like MJ which displaces a natural legal product .... is a NATIONAL SECURITY ISSUE....and Trump should treat it as such.....meaning if you are a country shipping materials into the USA to make illegal drugs...you could be messing with war.......destroying a nations backbone using illegal drugs is an act of war IMHO.......just like chemiclly castrating multiple generations of their kids with toxic cheap products is,and just like financing social revolutions ala 60's BS which undermine the nuclear family and handicap a countries birth/growth rate by making broken 1-2 child families the norm is.....these are covert acts of war on HUMANITY.

Jail the mall.

"Legal" does not mean handing control over to the doctors and pharmaceutical companies.

It means free for anyone to produce and distribute.

It also means you consume at your own risk and assume full responsibility for the consequences of your actions.

My attitude as well. Don't even bother to arrest or help the addicts. Just pick them up off of the street as they die. Reinstate natural selection. It will eventually improve the species.

Nah. As long as addicts can get their fix they are fully functional member of society.

I hear.

If the addicts can get their fix, without having to break into your home, to steal your stuff/money so they can afford it, wouldnt you be happy? If the money didnt go to organised crime, wouldnt that be a good thing for society?

If the addicts didnt have to spend all their time, worrying about how to get the next fix, they would have more time to think about their life situation, and have a greater change of getting out of their addiction, do you dissagree?

You dont think people are smart enough to be taught about this stuff, so they can make a qualified decision wether or not they want to be an addict?

Have you heard about the test (cant seem to find it, nowhere, but i read about on ATS) where they tested animals, gave them the choise of clean water and drugged water, they chose the drugs... when in captivity! ...They choosed the clean water when they where in their natural habitat, what does that tell you?

This is not new , but this should be dealt with in a President Duterte , Phillippino kinda way !

Ok. Just shoot everybody who criticizes the government and say they were dope dealers.
Perfect. We don't need no stinking court system.

How do you bring the CIA to trial?

This is a manifestation of social pathologies caused by prohibition. There are greedy humans who will game the system, and that's what is happening here.

Of course.

And then what happens, in a free market?

My mother had needles stuck in her arm on a regular basis. Never made her feel like a man.

Duterte's was against drug cartels is a sacrosanct war against the EU and the British colonialists. The only people in the world who used and use drugs as a weapon of war against nations.

Didn't you know that, while the British were selling Indian opium to the Chinese, the Americans were also doing the same with opium from Turkey?

No, that is much too unsophisticated. Our ways are more like abducting an individual, putting them in a legit looking mental institution along with a couple of legitimate patients, place forged patient records with the individual as well and there's no one that will ever notice and even if anybody does, nobody is going to question it and even if that happens said person is certainly not going to be a whistle blower and risk everything.

The only reason meth is popular is because its cheaper than its Columbian alternative. Its a false market propped up by the war on drugs.

The worst drugs that exist are there as workarounds. People don't willingly choose to rot their teeth. They're addicted to a rush, and with that as their primary goal, find the chepest way to provide that rush. The war on drugs makes existing drugs propblems worse.

Look at the popularity of K2, etc. Terrible stuff....only there as a workaround to an existing law.

Each new law creates a new iteration of worse chemical processes to feed an addiction to a rush, a feeling.

I wonder how you bring the CIA to justice for violating the same laws that have imprisoned so many minorities in the US.

Before Vietnam, I don't think we saw this type of stuff. My son and I were talking about a report that the opiod epidemic is so bad that trauma centers are having to use nontraditional pharmaceuticals (i.e., narco's meant for wildlife) to provide pain relief to some people. I was speechless.

There is direct correlation to US drug epidemics and the CIA. Heroin was epidemic in the 70's. It went away and was replaced by coke in the 80's. Then in the 2000's heroin makes a comeback. Each epidemic coinciding with the focus of CIA operations in areas where the drugs are produced.

Now, when I am having severe pain, i can't get medications for it. Why? My doctor doesn't bother to deal with schedule 2 scripts. Why do i have to suffer with this? They were too easy to get, and no one was buying the CIA's heroin. So they made the pharmaceuticals illegal to push more folks into buying the CIA's current main drug operation.

I keep saying....the CIA needs to go. Life in the US is worse because of things they do.

A favorite song of mine about addiction:

Opiates are huge around here. Lots of "pain clinics" and nurse practitioners handing out scripts for absentee physicians at them. They schedule appointments every 3 weeks so they can fit in another month of insurance payments a year. Greedy and criminal IMO. When or if your insurance poops out or etc.. youre cut off cold turkey. Where do you go for your addiction and chronic pain meds then? The street... very thriving pill underground here. The prices are jacked up.. you cant use the pills you are used to getting from your Dr for long unless youre loaded money wise. Cheaper alternative to opiate pain meds? Heroin. Soccer moms with addictions totally originating from crappy pain management Drs and available pain medications... dropping like flies cause they arent used to street drugs. We have these ribbons on the trees about heroin addiction. They hold signs and have a protest once in a while about the epidemic here. Who ar ethey? The parents, friends, kids, spouses, etc of the dead.

That war on drugs is sure working... so is the big pharma BS with pain management. What else is working is stopping the underground railroad of cartel drugs.. which isnt so underground anymore since anyone can walk over the border and enjoy "sanctuary".

Why are so many people in need of 'pain management'? Sounds like malingering to me.

No. People are very lazy and stupid. That is why rulers are needed. An unpalatable fact some have forgotten.
