I am a supporter of rules...I do not support subverting the systems our forefathers built.....clearly the current world power rotten apples began their games in the 20s-30s.......we can see when and where the control of media and mass communication was implemented.......we can see how the published word was used before this to control us all......I say we simply flush out the crap....the systems are originally of the people for the people and they were hi-jacked internally.....we simply need to flush the crap out.

Putting someone in controlled hold to cuff them is not abuse...JACKING THEIR BLOODY SHOULDER OUT OF ITS SOCKET OR TWISTING WRISTS/FINGERS TILL THEY NEARLY BREAK....is ABUSE of authority and is a CRIME......having a 220lb fat cop kneeling on the BACK OF YOUR HEAD WITH ALL OF HIS BODY/DONUT WEIGHT while 3 other cops hold your extremities down twisting and ripping on them ....IS ABUSE.....BY ANY STANDARD......putting you knee on the back of someones head and applying 220lbs of force grinding their skin off and breaking their bones and teeth as you are telling someone to STOP MOVING while your cop buddies are trying to break their bones using martial arts and ESCALATING VIA SOP when they twitch or scream with unholstered guns in their faces and cop fingers on triggers ......is ABUSE AND IS CRIMINAL.....do you understand this....that these are now nationwide tactics which have been ACCEPTED AND SUPPORTED BY THE LEGAL SYSTEM....telling someone who is unarmed to STOP TALKING OR STOP MOVING VERBALLY and using force to make them comply is ABUSE AND CRIMINAL.....and we all know the old con-job cops use of intentionally escalating their own verbosity to project panic or danger or opposition and then using this aggression to set the tone of the encounter then using this overall situation to trigger ESCALATING SOP LEVELS OF VIOLENCE CULMINATING IN LETHAL FORCE IF THE RULES ALLOW IT.

We are beyond small talk.....it is time for action.

In my non-American community we recently had a TV commercial encouraging citizens to report drunk drivers using 911 to help law enforcement catch people.......within one week we had a Cop shoot a suspect IN A RESIDENTIAL NEIGHBORHOOD IN THE MORNING with his service weapon during a drunk driving investigation with children looking out their windows.....the Cop FOLLOWED THE GUY TO HIS OWN HOME FOLLOWING AN ANONYMOUS TIP ......and confronted him in his driveway in the middle of his neighborhood......alone without back-up.......and SHOT THE MAN......because he was a suspected drunk driver????.....you see the COP escalated the situation until lethal force was justifiable by his judgement which is lead by the laws which support him and by what his superiors tell him to be doing.......we do NOT WANT ROUGE LONEWOLF COPS SHOOTING SUSPECTED IMPAIRED DRIVERS TO DEATH IN THEIR FRONT YARDS ......ever.

The local news MSM schills.....showed a neighbor who said,"he said he saw a knife"......during his interview.....lol....the Police dept made NO COMMENT AT ALL IN REGARDS TO SPECIFICS......but my community was "lead" to a conclusion by the MSM schills....who work with civic con-jobs to subvert citizens civil and federal rights.You see local words say the cop was alone without backup and confronted the drunk leading to a physical engagement then SLIPPED ON THE ICE THEN DREW SERVICE WEAPON AND OPENED FIRE ON THE UNARMED DRUNK. But the schill MSM working in collusion with Civic leaders law enforcement and their legal councils et al tried to lambast the community with misleading statements onair suggesting a "knife was present"......we the People are not stupid.....they screwed up in recruiting people to use 911 to rat on suspected drunk drivers when people are not trained to identify drunk drivers like cops are....you see.......they need 911 calls to escalate how they handle calls.....they use the PEOPLE TO SCREW THE PEOPLE......

Municipalities use civic bylaws....which they enforce using civil and federal law enforcement....to breach and subvert federal charter rights and freedoms....these "civil bylaws" are used to TRUMP citizens GREATER RIGHTS......this is a crime....this is RAMPANT IN NORTH AMERICA.....the PATTERNS OF LAW ENFORCEMENT ABUSE ARE CLEAR.

In my community we chose to expedite laws to stop cell phone use while driving...the community trusted its civic leaders to bring in a bylaw to expedite this process......what was really brought into force was something NOBODY ASKED FOR.....a "distracted driving bylaw" was brought in....NOT A CELL PHONE NON-USE BYLAW......you see what they did????.......under the auspices of a civic bylaw against "distracted driving" anything a cop sees you doing or not doing in your car can constitute distracted driving...not ONLY CELL PHONE USE...sooooo......this means any cop can stop you and abbrogate your federal charter rights and freedoms in your vehicle ANY TIME THEY CHOOSE TO DO SO..... and effectively stop you and search your person and vehicle without a warrant.........because you didnt have 2 hands on the wheel or because it "looked like" you were sipping your coffee or picking your nose or touching up your makeup or eating a snack.....you see this is graft and it is criminal......community leaders legal counsels and cops breaking the law TOGETHER.....and this is done because cops know they dont need warrants to stop people for bylaw infractions and anything else they "randomly find" during such an investigation can be used in court of law without the need for a search warrant or investigation.They are intentionally breaking the laws to enforce the laws and doing so in a collusional manner.

MSM schills were used to rile up the masses....then...... We asked for a cell phone specific law...we allowed expedited creation of bylaws.....then they worked together to screw us all............the Civil leaders,their Legal Council,and Civic Law Enforcement COLLUDED TOGETHER AGAINST THE PEOPLE....to by proxy allow law enforcement to "based on civic bylaw enforcement "without warrant or process stop detain and search individuls and their vehicles....they ABBROGATE CITIZENS FEDERAL RIGHTS which OVERRULE CIVIC BYLAWS...this is a crime and they collude to make it possible.And the LEGAL SYSTEM HELPS THEM 100%....this is the same stuff Trump is trying to clean up...same con-jobs.

Of the People by the People.....my support is irrelevant....localities have rules....the processes by which these rules are established entrenched managed and enforced are external to myself and my belief systems.......I believe in rules and also in the pliability of the processes by which rules are created and projected....but rules as they stand must be followed and due process to initiate and enable changes must be followed and change must be by the people for the people .

If you wish to split hairs...ok...some communities may allow Teachers to dole out corporal punishment......as you show.....and within the confines of those processes there are RULES....there are always rules.....so the first time these rules are broken that Teacher is done teaching.

I was rappped on the knuckles with wooden yardsticks with no process attatched when this was societally endorsed ....later when this was stopped by public demand I was strapped with an industry standard Leather tool as a kid,more than once,but processes were followed with the strapping,no teacher could respond to me with a slap to my face and have this behaviour termed corporal punishment ......later strapping was outlawed as societal wishs dictated.

The changes I personally experienced were not engaged or actioned by rebellion or anarchy....they were EVOLVED via process.....people voted to change things in stages.....and before their votes forced changes they had common beliefs which were there but not being projected.....and they as I do RESPECTED THE RULES AND THE PROCESSS WHICH CATALYSED THOSE RULES.

I don't know how anyone can justify or stand behind such obvious cruelty.

THere are several way that our laws are non sequitur. A couple more obvious ones:

-prostitution is illegal. But if there is a camera, possibly a permit (depending on situation and if you need a permit to film), and the proper signed compliance papers, its considered free speech and not prostitution.

the primary legal support for abortion is personhood, and control over your own body. which is outright ignored in terms of drug use.

Im not sure if these have never been challenged using logic from other, similar cases or not. But it doesn't make sense, other than things like public health or just plain old Democracy (enough folks agreed to take rights away, that they were just taken away)

Kind of without words for this one. Seriously a hundred bucks worth of pot and then they unload 57 rounds on the poor guy. That only 9 hit their intended target is quite disturbing as well but an entirely different topic. In this case it's actually lucky, which is not even the correct adjective, that they were so poorly trained with their firearms. At least he will live but that still ain't much of a life.

Sadly this likely does not come down to inept training officers and negligence on the part of police superiors. This likely a result of training and a culture that has been actively nurtured within many law enforcement communities. We the people have been being transformed into public enemy no. 1 for longer than I've been alive.

These lying scumbags should be held personally liable for the millions this man should receive in civil court. Some of this could be accomplished through forced asset forfeiture, the same BS that they pull on everyday people rather than cause the taxpayer to shoulder all of the burden. In theory the tax payer is the ultimate employer and if the tax player's employees are sued and loose in civil court the employer needs to pay up though. It's a nice thought that the people, having not only witnessed the total lack of integrity, morality and honesty in their "employees", may actually decide to hold them not only financially accountable, but also legally accountable. Will this ever happen? Probably not because these POS' don't actually work for the people.... That would be working for the enemy. They have already been cleared of any legal wrong doing by the state department responsible for such investigations in S.C. Unfortunately that seems to the norm.

Their uniforms/identifying police insignia.
Even knocking on the door(they had a no knock warrant and entered almost immediately if they did indeed announce their presence)

They did:
All provide the same account of the incident, apparently almost verbatim.
Lead a neighbor to believe that a burglary was in progress. I'm sure the officer(S) wearing balaclava (S) didn't help.
Turn on body cams after the incident.
Not realize that a surveillance system was present.
Change their stories, coincidentally in sync with each other.

They deserve to be put before a grand jury for indictment by a special prosecutor. While they eventually settled on a story about the gun being pointed at them, after forensics determined that it was not discharged, they have without consequence destroyed any shred of credibility and IMO the public's has absolutely zero reason to believe a damn thing they claim.

This is just more of the same BS. More above-the-law-behavior by lawless law "Enforcers". I'd bet actual mod enforcers, be they Italian, Russian, Ukrainian, Jewish Chinese or Japanese, have more integrity than these cowards.

I really hope this guy not only wins a civil suit against not only the state but also the primary perpetrators of THIS CRIME and any and all responsible superiors. This category also includes their cronies tasked with investigating and oversight of military... oops I mean police operations that cleared these butchers.

That notion that this is even remotely allowed to stand in a(so called) free(and exceptional) society is disgusting and rotten to it's core. SC seem to be a largely conservative state where there is a lot of rhetoric regarding fiscal responsibility on one hand and moral responsibility on the other. While many may judge the morality of the victim due to the pot charges leveled against him(I do not and I doubt many true conservatives and liberals would disagree[sorry neo-cons/libs]) it is still no excuse for the actions of this so-called task force. The officer's actions clearly fail to meet any moral standard in many regards. Whether it was paralyzing a human being, destroying multiple organs and lying multiple times, in concert, they absolutely are no where near the moral high ground. To my point about the ideological demographics of SC; If the entirely immoral, dishonest, deceitful and wholly unprofessional actions of the police are not enough, maybe a multi-million dollar taxpayer funded payout to the victim will do the trick.

In a case like this it doesn't matter if your are liberal or conservative, assuming one IST of the "Neo-con/lib" variety. This should be upsetting to all as we the people have been transformed into we the enemy. I personally tend to hold certain social, political and cultural views that would likely be considered to be traditionally liberal or traditionally conservative depending on the issue. If the total lack of scruples isn't enough for some people we can then consider the obvious attack on individual liberty and the seemingly clear and intentional violation of at least one constitutional right. Finally there is the financial burden placed on the people, whether it's the funding of salaries, training and equipment or the cost of frivolous prosecutions (DA and the Public Defenders office) and ultimately the cost of settlements or judgements.

I really wish people would start exercising critical thinking and analysis and with that actively participate in the system by contacting local, state and even federal lawmakers and applying persistent pressure. I fear this will likely not happen in my lifetime though as the American system of education has essentially been engineered for failure by the likes of Rockefeller, Carnegie and all the rest. The quality of education in this country, especially in more densely populated areas, is beyond shameful. The distortion of facts, the rewriting of various parts of history by various interest groups with various agendas over the years has served to create a population of extremely divided low information voters. We're offered up basically two pieces of a sh17 sandwich every couple of years whether it's local/state/federal elections and each segment of the population sticks to their indoctrinated talking points and continue to be at each other's throats in a viscous, and at times, violent manner. It seems the majority of people don't care for or care about the TRUTH as the truth, as well as facts, have not only become, but also have been a matter of interpretation and personal belief for sometime now.

What we see in this tragic story is just another component of this plan, albeit a very crucial component. While it may just be another piece of the puzzle or a cog in the machine it is essential. Having largely influenced and transformed the enforcement apparatus in this country, local, state and federal, agencies small and large, those who truly own and rule this country have elevated them further above the law than ever. In the grand scheme of things this is a rather small incident. The implied implications however are monumental. The program of divide and conquer and dis/mis-information seems to have rapidly advanced in just the past two decades. Our society has become so complacent and compliant this was likely a small story on the local news, a largely ignores event in the national media and not even a blip on the average person's radar. The conditioning has been so expansive and complete that while likely appalling to many members of the public, the vast majority of those who were appalled likely only felt so for a fleeting moment and quickly purged the thought from their minds as the underlying implications (CONT.)

While 1984 by Orwell was most definitely a terrifying dystopian tale of the future, it is far more terrifying to me that the self anointed masters of this planet, and of American society in particular, have been so incredibly manipulating in such a covert way that we are largely not only enabling the transformation of Western society into despotic, dystopian state; in many cases we willingly ask for it without knowledge of or a concern about the lasting consequences.

Sadly the story in the OP is just another unfortunate and depressing sign and symptom of moral and logical collapse of an American society that has persistently inching itself to the cliff of authoritarianism for decades now. This is not a partisan issue. True liberalism and conservatism died a long time ago. To borrow a title from Huxley; we are indeed in a "brave new world". What I fear most is that the indoctrination has reached a point of no return and we are essentially on a runaway train or sinking ship.

I am however grateful that places like ATS do exist and are largely comprised of members with critical thinking skills. It's disheartening what the MSM makes of folks like ATS members. At the same time it is also inspiring to see so many people not only inform themselves as to the state of the world and also speak out in instances like this, but also to know that many of us are trying to open the minds of others.
