My name is Kagdryl. I like languages, history, and anthropology. That's what led me to Kantzveldt's thread The Language of Vampyr when I first found this website. For the past six months I've been analyzing the website discussed in that thread - forgottenlanguages-full.forgottenlanguages.org - and now I'm finally ready to begin exposing the hoax. The translated version can be found at remembered-languages.blogspot.com and a temporary link to the discussion discord can be found here: (Link Removed By Staff)

a reply to: Kagdryl Hello. Kagdryl! Nice name.

Busting the crap is what ATS is for, so you seem to be on the right place. Ignore the trolls and shills that occasionally come around and you'll be just fine

If he ignores trolls and shills there will be nobody left to talk to.

I think the most important thing in "busting hoaxes" is knowing you can't prove something doesn't exist. Hoax busters can sometimes be colored by existing prejudices. I think it is important to be mindful of how we think about the possibility of possibility. Otherwise we will be too closed minded.

Problem being many of the hoax buster's are expert's at creating hoaxes, kind of like the truth is in every lie,if you use common sense 99% of time you'll be right, some can defy logic

I kind of agree with what you are saying. But whenever I hear the term "common sense" red flags go up for me. It just seems to me many times the people who claim to have the most common sense turn out to be the ones with the most irrational beliefs. Common sense is built on a frame of reference. If your frame of reference is limited in scope, then your common sense is also limited in scope.

I think one of the most disturbing flaws in our current vernacular is most people have no distinction between opinions and facts. Many times people will inappropriately think their own opinions are facts. And many times the same people will think opposing opinions are false or lies. Opinions cannot be lies. Opinions cannot be false.

Welcome!

I have a hoax to bust for you. The Mandela effect. It gets into me. There is a kind of solid consensus here on ATS that it is a hoax. And the most likely explanation to ME is faulty memory. I know. My memory is far from good, things slip through my mind all the time. But some stuff has altered now. Lately. Mostly little things, spellings of logos or something. And seems to me that South-America is too much to the west now.

So if you bust this one for me once and for all, you have granted me peace of mind and i grant you a big fat THANKS.

If you bust hoaxes, more will be created to fill the spot. Welcome to the site.

Remember, even a hoax has some truth to it sometimes. Also, not matching consensus of the time makes many things a hoax even though they are real.

I like busting phony debunking of alleged hoaxes. They are just as much hoaxes.

Hold on now. I'm not a troll or a shill. There would be at least one with whom to communicate.

Come now.

Welcome to the anti-scientific, fakenews site of the week! You can read about what you just stepped in over here: This is total BS ATS is on this list.

Glad you have been to ATS before. It is a bit different here on the posting side of things. If you head over to the ATS Freshman's forum, the top thread is A Guide to BBCodes which is a god send. You will see how to properly embed a URL like I did above. And there are reminders of terms and conditions and other guidelines too.

I couldn't keep up with the Language of Vampyre thread after a hundred and fifty posts or so. So going back and picking up the thread again to get your posts will be a nice trip down memory lane!

Glad you're here on ATS!

Welcome to ATS. Be careful discussing HOAXes and linking back to known Hoax sites here at ATS. But youll fit right in...just get used to not getting some of your linking deleted...

You might review the Ts and Cs and dig around the board forums too...and Freshman's.

Nice to have you aboard!

Hello,

All I'm getting is:
"Sorry, the blog at remembered-languages.blogspot.com has been removed. This address is not available for new blogs."

I heavily doubt fl is a hoax.
