Rediscovering music as an adult, page 1

Have you rediscovered music that you used to like when you were younger as an adult only to find that it seemed far more meaningful than it ever did before?

That's what's happened to me with Fleetwood Mac. I have liked their music since I was around ten years old. I forgot about them almost entirely until recently. Listening to their music about 30 years after I was initially a fan is an incredible experience. Their songs have a completely different meaning to me now than they did then. I had no idea how deep and meaningful their songs are. How could I have known?

I love early Fleetwood Mac with Peter green and no Stevie nicks. I can't stand Stevie nicks.
I think their first two albums are great!

I like this version of black magic woman way better than Santana's.

Yes kind of. I am 35 years old now and started to listen to Korn when i was like 14 or so. And it really sounds more meaningful nowadays. Maybe because now i have more life experience (not to brag about it, mostly bad experiences)

If you want a " Meaningful " Fleetwood Mac song then you need to look at their early stuff. As another poster has stated Peter Green was Fleetwood Mac.
