Sounds like a great guy. Great teachings! Went to India, learned from the buddhists.

Can you provide me actual evidence he existed though? Something tangible?

Cheap pop

No Buddhism is not christianity and not even in the least way remotely related, nothing even similar

Can you provide me actual evidence anyone who died at least two centuries ago really existed? Something tangible?

Ever seen The Passion of the Christ?

Mel Gibson played the role of Jesus.

Mel Gibson is not black.

If Jesus had been black they would have cast Will Smith.

Mel Gibson did not play JC, Jim Caviezel did.

Also the bible took place in the middle east, so he would have been middle eastern, not the blonde blue eyed one we see today.

Will Smith suxx as an actor. lol Also the bible is a tool meant to control people, just like any organized religion out there. Muslim, Christian, Catholic...etc.

They were created to control mankind. It is OK to believe in a higher being but all the books, the holy men and the churches, mosques or whatever are meant to control you.

The bible as has other books has been modified over the centuries, there is even a theory out there that the story of JC was taken from other religions or people.

A few Blacks In The Bible To Begin With.

Simon,or Simeon Niger, aka the Black.

There is off course the Ethiopian eunuch who was converted to being a follower of Jesus by Philip on his way back to Kush.

Taharka king of Egypt and Ethiopia/Kush during the time of Hezekiah, or the 25th dyn of Egypt.

Ebed-melech the Kush-ite a court official that rescued Jeremiah from a pit .
Off course the Queen of Sheba, who had the hots for king Solomon.

There is Zarah /Shishak ??, although a Libyan king of Egypt was called the Kush-ite of double infamy for his rampaging of Israel.. 23 or 24th Dyn. of Egypt, he is identified as such because the Kush-ite dyn did not do any hostile take of Hebrew lands although they fought off the Assyrians in that land, the Libyans under Shishak certainly did.

Phineas the high priest responsible for guarding the holy of hollies grandson of Aaron the brother of Moses.
His name is simply P3nahs or Nahasi aka the Nubian or Kush-ite aka Ethiopian.

Zipporah, Moses Ethiopian Wife, of Median , indicating the Medians were Black at the time.
There is actually quite a lot if you know where to look and the names they carried.

I am sorry you dont understand history
Jesus is the most well documented Man in history, more than any other, ever
Disbelieve everything ever written, disbelieve every account, every word, every story and you are still left with His teachings
You can disbelieve His teachings but you cant deny they were His teachings, even today they are radical.

The unknown years of Jesus (also called his silent years, lost years, or missing years) generally refers to the period between Jesus's childhood and the beginning of his ministry

Not that well documented.. from birth to 30 he was doing?
I do believe he lived. a good man, but just a man.

The problem with validating that Jesus actual existed is the lack of early sources. There are no existing eyewitness or contemporary accounts of Jesus.

But I apologize for the cheap pop as I realize this is a touchy subject for some.

Jesus not black.

Don't even know if there was an historical Jesus to begin with but, care to know how the bible described him, real or not??
Hair of wool and skin like burnished bronze, so if there is a second coming then keep a look out for a dark skinned woolly haired male about 30.

If JC was alive today, his believers would reject him because of the middle eastern look he would have. LOL

LORD JESUS CHRIST probably cares about the hue of his shell about as much as a ocean cares about each wave it has made...

For THE knows beyond here such complexions do not matter.

This is part of the spiritual foundation required to begin to resonate on higher frequencies.
Color blind to race for it is what is going on within the ETERNAL Souls that means most-

If JC was alive today, most of his followers would deny him, especially the republicans, cause JC would be a socialist, the Vatican wouldn't exist, or if it did, it wouldn't be made of gold and walled like is it, and he would have one hell of a manly beard, hipsters would like him.

Actually jesus didn't follow the rules of men he followed the rules of god so chances are he wouldn't have a earthly political communist/socialist dream for our world more likely an authoritarian based rule of gods will. I laugh at all the lefties who actually believe jesus would subscribe to their lunacy like he would come back in a rage agaisnt the machine shirt and carl Marxist manifesto clutched to his body preaching the benifits of communism lol

Hipsters lol wouldn't like him because he is supposed to bring the sword in his next role! jesus was the savior of mens souls in his first life! His second life he is going to defeat the devil and turn earth into paradise so he has to fight the antichrist! Hipsters are a fasion tread!

Have any of you done any research about the races of people in the Bible? What do you think about how much time the Hebrews spent in Africa?

There was never a time since their presence on the historical scene and their arrival in Africa that there was not a community there, and they were in all parts of Africa, from North to South east to west, matter of fact they were in Wagadu, Mali and Songhai during the middle ages, there are communities in Zimbabwe today, one thing though they looked no different than the surrounding communities or neighbors, just like they do in India , China and Europe.

Queen of Sheba
Zipporah
Nimrod

Zipporah:

en.wikipedia.org...

Zipporah was Moses' wife.

The Book of Numbers 12:1 calls the wife of Moses "a Cu#e woman", whereas Moses's wife Zipporah is usually described as hailing from Midian. The rhetorical question "Can the Cu#e change his skin?" in Jeremiah 13:23 implies people of a markedly different skin color from the Israelites, most likely a Nubian people; also, the Septuagint uniformly translates Cush as Αἰθιοπία "Aithiopia." Another person named Cush in the Hebrew Bible is a Benjamite who is mentioned only in Psalm 7, and is believed to be a follower of Saul.

Moses' sister, Miriam, got in trouble for criticizing Moses for marrying a Cu#e woman. The Lord punished her and TURNED HER SKIN WHITE AS LEPROSY for a time. See the emphasis on color. Miriam was criticizing Zipporah on account of her being a black woman.

Queen of Sheba:

Song of Solomon 1:5; "Dark am I, yet lovely, daughters of Jerusalem, dark like the tents of Kedar, like the tent curtains of Solomon."

Nimrod:

www.blackhistoryinthebible.com...

Nimrod is arguably one of the most important people in the Old Testament, but there is very little said about him in scripture. However, what is said changes the entire course of human history, mostly because of where he was from. Nimrod was the son of Cush, the grandson of Ham, and the great grandson of Noah. The Cu#e Origin of Nimrod Being a son of Cush, Nimrod himself would be classified as a Cu#e. According to both scripture and history, Cu#es were known for their black skin. Kuwsh (Strong’s #3568): Probably of foreign origin; Cush (or Ethiopia), the name of a son of Ham, and of his territory; also of an Israelite — Chush, Cush, Ethiopia. “For of the four sons of Ham, time has not at all hurt the name of Cush; for the Ethiopians, over whom he reigned.

There is just a hint for you. There are many more, but you have ruined my morning coffee already; it has gone cold as I attempt to heal you of your issues, OP.

EDIT: ATS, you are barring words like CU#E. That is very racist to do that. You are denying a whole people the right to their history. It is bad. It is NOT a swear word. How can you be credible when you will not even allow this word to be written here. Your swear word 'ometers are very racist indeed. Do you not understand how important language is yet? Do you not understand how important clumsy censoring is? Did you learn NOTHING from Orwell?

My coffee has gone very cold now and I am annoyed because I should not have to be writing any of this.

CUSH, CUSH, CUSH!

Just because they were radical doesn't mean they were the actual teachings of Jesus. If there were 100% proof Jesus was real and the Sermon on the Mount was really The Teachings of Christ, it wouldn't be called Faith, it would be called Fact!
