We already have a good amount of evidence to back up President Trump's claim.

There WAS a FISA request (probably 2) that had to come from the Obama Regime.

There WAS an FBI wiretap of a Trump Tower server.

There WAS a wiretapped phone conversation (Flynn) from Trump Tower.

And of course we now have several other reports from the NY Times to Fox News of various sources backing up the claim that the Obama Regime spied on Trump.

I don't see this ending well for the Left and Barry "Choom Gang" Obammie.

When asked where he got the info for his now famous tweet. "Just found out..".etc
He said he read it in the NYT and saw a segment on Fox that talked about wire taps and he said wow there's a lot about wire taps... then he tweets. But hey he did get two sources . Lol
So he did not just find out from any official source. And the Times article was six weeks before the tweet so that's not even just found anything. It's more conspiracy theory.
When asked why he didn't wait for proof before tweeting he said well the NYT wrote about it. So that was his proof. Not one senator or congressman can confirm the wire taps. The FBI won't confirm it. Jeff Sessions gladly puts his hands up and drawls "Don't ask me I'm recused." It's almost the fifth.
Face it the man made it up and slandered a former US president and lied to the American people.

I'm sure there was more than one wiretap while investigating foreign contacts to the US.

Remember, this investigation comes AFTER they found suspicious conversations. A warrant would only have been granted if the FBI (not Obama) convinced a judge that they were seeing contacts between Russia and the Trump campaign and that there had been conversations discussing something illegal.

At one point, yes. But where did it start?

Let me point out here that a phone has two ends and that Sergey Kislyak (the ambassador that Flynn contacted) ALSO has a phone and he's residing here in the US. It is a far more likely scenario that they were wiretapping Kislyak's phones because he's a major threat.

But wiretaps go both ways. If he calls someone, they hear both ends of the conversation.

Somewhere in all this, a Russian they were monitoring (probably Kislyak) contacted either Trump or his staff and had a conversation that sounded extremely suspicious..... and likely more than one conversation. This leads to the wiretap and to the server investigation.

The big question that I don't see being asked is "what did the FBI hear that made them get an order for Trump servers and so forth?"

They couldn't get it on "hey, is staff called to wish someone happy birthday" or "Trump called to ask the ambassador to dinner." It's got to be something bigger than that.

What did the FBI hear?
