For federal tax returns, there is a specific statute that prohibits publishing without consent: 26 U.S.C. § 7213(a)(3). But the Times published only the first page of Trump’s New York, New Jersey and Connecticut tax returns (not the federal tax returns), so that statute would not apply.

Well there are only 18 minutes of Maddows career left if this is the 2005 stuff.

First I do not think Maddow should get in trouble for publishing info she was leaked if that is how she got these tax returns. As much as I dislike her, she has every right to inform people of info she receives as long as she didn't personally break the law to get it, much as Assange has that right with wikileaks.

My prediction is it will show huge deductions. You know like the ones that Maddow and every other millionaire take. Everyone takes as many deductions as they are allowed, myself included. Why does this make Trump bad?

I also predict if their is anything remotely suggesting he had any business is Russia this will be used by Maddow and people on the left to "prove" that Trump colluded with Russians. This is a joke. I don't care if Trump made 500 billion dollars in russia, that does not prove any wrong doing.
